The invention relates to a method for the valorization of steel slags, said method comprising the steps of: i) subjecting steel slags to comminution up to a size lower than 1 mm; ii) carrying out a first wet screening of the slag subjected to comminution so as to provide oversieve materials having a size comprised between 0.250 and 1 mm; iii) separating under wet conditions a non-magnetic fraction of said oversieve materials by a magnetic fraction thereof; iv) washing said non-magnetic fraction; v) carrying out a second wet screening of said non-magnetic fraction of said non-magnetic fraction so as to provide oversieve materials having a size comprised between 0.250 and 1 mm; vi) collecting the washed and screened non-magnetic fraction of the oversieve materials in a container. The present invention relates to a method for the treatment of bottom ashes deriving from combustion processes, said method comprising a step of storing and aging bottom ashes and a step of grinding stored and aged bottom ashes, as well as a subsequent water washing step of said stored and aged bottom ashes. The water washing step is divided into two distinct washing stages, in every one of which water washing is combined with at least one screening step and one step of sand slime removal and hydrocyclone treatment and between which a further grinding step of the bottom ashes hold by screening in the first washing stage is carried out. The water used to wash bottom ashes is made to continuously recirculate in each washing stage after a step of clariflocculation with chemical treatment and fresh water is supplied in the second washing stage only. Thanks to these features, it is possible to reduce the content in polluting substances contained in the bottom ashes within the limits provided by the present standards concerning their reuse as inert materials, by using a much smaller amount of fresh water than that used in known treatment apparatuses for bottom ashes based on water washing. The invention also relates to an apparatus configured so as to carry out the treatment method.

Die Erfindung betrifft ferner ein Verfahren zum Betreiben einer Müllverbrennungsanlage, insbesondere für Hausmüll oder dergleichen. Das Verfahren zum Aufbereiten von Flugasche aus einem Verbrennungsprozess einer Müllverbrennungsanlage wird dadurch weitergebildet, dass aus der aus dem Verbrennungsprozess abgeschiedenen, vorzugsweise unfraktionierten, Flugasche in einem Trennungsschritt Metalle und/oder metallhaltige Verbindungen, insbesondere Schwermetalle und/oder schwermetallhaltige Verbindungen, abgeschieden werden und anschließend die um Metalle und/oder metallhaltige Verbindungen abgemagerte Flugasche einer in dem Verbrennungsprozess zu verbrennenden Abfallmenge, vorzugsweise dosiert, beigemischt oder beigegeben wird, so dass die um Metalle und/oder metallhaltige Verbindungen abgemagerten, mineralischen Anteile der Flugasche in den Verbrennungsprozess rückgeführt werden.

A method for recycling aluminium slags, comprising the steps of supplying aluminium slags, releasing aluminium-containing parts from the slags using a first crushing device in which the slags are crushed to form fractions, filtering the fractions using a first screening device to form at least a first and second part-stream, and passing at least the first part-stream along an eddy current separator for separating the aluminium-containing parts from the first part- stream. At least the first part-stream is passed along an eddy current separator which is driven at a rotary speed of less than 1000 rpm. The parts which remain downstream of this eddy current separator at the rotary speed of less than 1000 rpm are returned to a crushing device in order to be crushed further to form fractions. The fractions which have been crushed further are supplied to a screening device in order to be filtered to form at least a first and second part-stream. At least the first part-stream of fractions which have been crushed further and separated out by filtration is again passed along an eddy current separator which is driven at a rotary speed of less than 1000 rpm.
