Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Verbesserung der Bearbeitung von Radfelgenrohlingen auf einer Spannvorrichtung, wobei nach der Herstellung des Radfelgenrohlings und vor der Bearbeitung des Radfelgenrohlings auf die Endform, der Radfelgenrohling vermessen und dabei zumindest dessen mittlere Ebene, und/oder die Mittelebene der Sichtseite, und/oder dessen Designmitte ermittelt wird und das Material der Homzugabe des Radfelgenrohlings in Form von mindestens einer Ausnehmung mechanisch abgetragen wird, wobei jede Ausnehmung so geformt ist, dass bei Auflage des Radfelgenrohlings auf die Spannvorrichtung die zuvor ermittelte mittlere Ebene und/oder die Mittelebene der Sichtseite auf den Auflagepunkten der Spannvorrichtung parallel zur Spannvorrichtung ausgerichtet ist und/oder die Designmitte der Radfelge auf der Achsmitte ausgerichtet ist. Zudem Umfasst die Erfindung mit diesem Verfahren geformte Radfelgenrohlinge.

In a first aspect, the invention relates to a replaceable milling cutter head (2), which has, on one hand, an external, rotationally symmetrical envelope surface (10) having a plurality of spaced-apart cutting edges (11 ) and chip flutes (12), and, on the other hand, front and rear ends (8, 9), a hollow space (20) opening in the rear end (9) of the body, and an axial hole (17) extending all the way through a frame (30) of the milling cutter head and mouthing in a bottom surface (21 ) in said hollow space (20). According to the invention, the milling cutter head has a flat, pulley-like basic shape so far that the axial distance (L) between the two ends (8, 9) is at most half as large as the greatest outer diameter (D1 ) of the body, besides which the cross-section area of the hollow space (20), in a plane perpendicular to the centre axis (C) of the milling cutter head, amounts to at least 25 % of the total cross-section area of the body, such as this is determined by said outer diameter (D1 ). In a second aspect, the invention also relates to a milling cutter tool having such a milling cutter head.
