Invention is a cleaning machine for tire curing sidewall (80) that comprises a basket (10), a rotational base (20) which mounted into thereof, a nozzle (60) provided in a movable manner on the rotational base (20), of extending towards the open side of the basket (10) and having an intake (63) connected to inlet (62) in a fluid transferrable manner. The cleaning machine comprises a rotating joint (40) which mounted radially to the outward direction on the rotational base (20) and a telescopic arm (50) which carrying the nozzle (60) at the free end thereof and which of fastened on a rotational base (20) with the rotating joint (40).

Provided is a water jet peening apparatus and a water jet peening method including: a clamping cylinder (201) which is able to be disposed at the outer peripheral side of an instrumentation nozzle (83) with a predetermined gap therebetween; a clamping piece (210) which is able to fix the clamping cylinder (201) to the instrumentation nozzle (83); a nozzle guide (221) which has a cylindrical shape, is provided inside the clamping cylinder (201), and is positioned to a position adjacent to the upper end of the instrumentation nozzle (83); an inner surface WJP nozzle (105) which is movable upward and downward inside the nozzle guide (221); and a drainage hole (224) which radially penetrates the nozzle guide (221). Accordingly, it is possible to improve the safety of the operation by preventing a thimble tube from being popped out due to a water jet peening operation.

A production method for a leaf spring, which can improve the durability of the eye portion and the productivity and which can reduce the production cost, is provided. In forming of a gap portion 115, a leading end portion 113 of an eye portion 112 faces a facing portion 114 such that each straight line L1 and L2 does not cross the leading end portion 113 of the eye portion 112, the straight line L1 connecting an intersection point T1 and a center point S1 of a reflection surface of a reflection member, the straight line L2 connecting an intersection point T1 and a center point S2 of a reflection surface of a reflection member, the intersection point T1 being between a perpendicular line H1 and a surface of the facing portion 114, the perpendicular line H1 extending from a leaf portion 111 side end point 113A of the leading end portion 113 of the eye portion 112 to the facing portion 114. Thus, shots, which are reflected by the reflection surface of the reflection member in the shot peening to the eye portion 112 inner surface, are projected to the entire surface of the facing portion 114 at the gap portion 115.
