A reduced flash molding process and apparatus useful for a variety of parts, especially flat plastic panels, reduces trimming time, regrind waste, increases production speeds, reduces energy consumption, and reduces part weight. The reduction in flash is made possible by providing side members (16,18,20,22,43,44,45,46) which close before molding material (12,12A) reaches them. Flash still occurs at the ends of the mold, but is eliminated from the sides. Because the parison (12,12A) can be more carefully managed during molding, the mold (10,40) can be placed closer to the parison extrusion die (70,70A), thereby reducing parison swell and sag and permitting more accurate filling of all areas within the mold geometry.

The invention relates to a method for producing cambered, tubular products, especially pneumatic springs, from a tubular section (10) that is internally subjected to a force of pressure and is pressed against a vulcanising mould (30). The invention also relates to a device for carrying out said method. The aim of the invention is to provide an economical method which is reliable in terms of the process, and a corresponding device. To this end, a heated fluid is introduced directly into the tubular section (10), and the tubular section (10) is pressed against the vulcanising mould (30).

Method of manufacturing containers for dispensing solutions, includes the steps of: (a) extruding a parison from a die while injecting supporting air into the parison, and sealing a forward part of the extruded parison; (b) forming a middle portion of the parison constituting a barrel portion of a container to be produced, during extrusion of the parison, so as to have a wall thickness thinner than the forward part of the parison; (c) injecting air into the parison, after being inserted into a mold with a vacuum mechanism, to blow it out while keeping a pressure in the interior of the mold to a value lower than an internal pressure of the parison, and cutting off the parison from the die to form a container, (d) inserting a mandrel into the molded container through a cut opening of the container after transferring the mold retaining the molded container to a solution-charging station and charging a medical solution into the molded container; and (e) pulling the mandrel out of the container after charging a medical solution into the molded container, and sealing the opening of the solution-charged container.

Disclosed is a method for producing a synthetic resin container comprising: a primary blow step of forming a bottomed cylindrical preform 10 made of a thermoplastic resin into a first molded intermediate 11 by blow molding; a constriction step of constricting the first molded intermediate 11 by depressurizing the inside of the first molded intermediate 11, to obtain a second molded intermediate 12; and a secondary blow step of placing the second molded intermediate 12 in a blow mold 1 and transferring an inner surface shape of the blow mold thereto by blow molding, to mold the secondary molded intermediate 12 into a predetermined container shape. According to this constitution, even though a body portion of each container has a deeply constricted shape, the inner surface shape of the blow mold can be successfully transferred thereto, and hence the synthetic resin containers molded into a predetermined container shape with excellent molding properties can be efficiency mass-produced.
