Abstract: A system for extrusion of material, for example chopped waste plastic, comprises a treatment device (101) for extruding the material and a feeder device (102) comprising a screw conveyor (103) for supplying the material to the treatment device. A screw element (104) of the screw conveyor has: a) a conical profile so that a diameter of the screw element decreases in a moving direction of the material and/or b) a thread-pitch decreasing in the moving direction of the material and/or c) an axial thickness of a screw thread crest increasing in the moving direction. The conical profile of the screw element and/or the thread-pitch decreasing in the moving direction and/or the axial thickness of the screw thread crest increasing in the moving direction improve the ability of the screw conveyor to compact the material and thereby to supply a sufficiently uniform material flow to the treatment device.

Abstract: A process for producing tyres including building a green tyre having two bead structures. Each bead structure includes a bead filler. The bead filler or another rigid component of the green tyre includes a final elastomeric compound produced by the following: feeding elastomeric polymer and reinforcement filler to a first batch mixing device; mixing and dispersing the reinforcement filler in the elastomeric polymer and unloading the obtained elastomeric compound; feeding the obtained elastomeric compound, along with at least 5 phr of reinforcement resin, to a continuous mixing device of intermeshing and co-rotating twin-screw or multi-screw type or of planetary type; mixing the reinforcement resin in the elastomeric compound and unloading the obtained elastomeric compound; and feeding the obtained elastomeric compound along with the components capable of facilitating the cross-linking to a second batch mixing device and mixing to obtain the final elastomeric compound. The first and second batch mixing device have two counterrotating rotors.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft weiterhin ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Nahrungsmittels oder eines Tierfutters mit einem derartigen Extruder (7), wobei das in die Prozesszone (9) eingeführte Material ausschliesslich in Richtung des Auslasses (11) des Extruders (7) gefördert wird.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for mixing and molding composite materials from a reactive resin matrix, which assumes thermosetting properties during the curing, and from a filler material, the method comprising the following steps: (a) dosing a liquid or pasty reactive resin into an extruder; (b) adding filler material to the reactive resin in the extruder; (c) mixing the components with the aid of one or more extruder screws while forming a composite; (d) conveying the composite to an area of the extruder, in which the composite is accumulated; (e) degassing the accumulated composite, and (f) conveying the degassed composite out of the extruder through a suitably formed nozzle.
