Abstract: This continuous type inkjet ink composition contains a dye, a resin, an electrical conductivity imparting agent, and an organic solvent. The dye is an organic dye having a disazo backbone. The electrical conductivity imparting agent is an ionic compound having, at an anionic portion thereof, at least one element selected from the group consisting of phosphorus and boron. The continuous type inkjet ink composition causes the contained dye to be dissolved therein, and enables obtaining of a printed matter having excellent retort resistance.

Abstract: An inkjet head includes an ejector unit that ejects ink in accordance with a driving signal and a drive substrate unit that outputs the driving signal. The drive substrate unit includes a drive substrate (522) that generates the driving signal, a case that holds the drive substrate (522), a cooling jacket (525), and a connection port connected to the cooling jacket (525). The cooling jacket (525) is arranged between the drive substrate (522) and the inner surface of the case and cools the drive substrate (522) by passing a cooling medium therein. The connection port is formed in the side wall or the top plate of the case. At least part of the connection port is located in the vicinity of the top plate. This configuration achieves downsizing of the entire inkjet head including the ejector unit and the drive substrate unit including the drive substrate (522), and also suppresses propagation of high-temperature heat generated by the drive substrate (522) to the ejector unit.

Abstract: An inkjet head includes an ejector unit (51) that ejects ink in accordance with a driving signal and a drive substrate unit (52) that outputs the driving signal. The ejector unit (51) includes a base plate (511), an internal tank that temporarily stores the ink ejected from an ejection outlet, a feed ink line (515) that passes the ink supplied to the internal tank, and a first opening. The first opening is formed in an exposed portion (401, 402) of the base plate (511) and communicates to the internal tank. The feed ink line (515) is connected to the first opening at the end on one side in the axial direction and extends toward the other side in the axial direction along the side wall (101) of the case (521). The end of the feed-side ink line (515) on the other side in the axial direction is located on the side closer to the other side than the top plate (102) of the case (521). This configuration easily establishes connection between the ejection unit (51) and the line extending from an external ink supplier when the ink is supplied to the internal tank that temporarily stores the ink in the ejector unit (51).
