Um eine preiswert herstellbare Abdeckkappe zu schaffen, bei der die Einstellung auf die maßgeblichen Radumfang auf einfache Weise vorgenommen werden kann, ist die erfindungsgemäße Ausgestaltung gekennzeichnet durch - elektrische, magnetische oder optische Mittel (10) zur Erfassung der Nabenumdrehungen, bestehend aus einem Geber (17) und einem in der Abdeckkappe angeordneten und mit dieser umlaufenden Nehmer (18), - einer elektronischen Recheneinheit (11) zur Übertragung der mit den Erfassungsmitteln (10) erfassten Nabenumdrehungen in einen Anzeigewert und - einer in der Abdeckkappe angeordneten Spannungsversorgung (13) für die Recheneinheit (11) und die Anzeige (12).
