    摘要： A height-adjustable seatpost (1) with shock absorption includes an outer tube (10), an inner tube (20), a height adjustment mechanism (30), and a shock absorber (40). The inner tube (20) is vertically movable disposed in the outer tube (10) and includes a head (21) located outside the outer tube (10) and a bottom (11) situated inside the outer tube (10). The height adjustment mechanism (30) is located inside the inner tube (20) and is configured to drive the inner tube (20) to move relative to the outer tube (10). The height adjustment mechanism (30) includes a stopper (34) positioned above a stop flange (23) on an inner wall of the inner tube (20) and can be abutted against the stop flange (23). The shock absorber (40) has two ends respectively abutted against the head (21) of the inner tube (20) and the stopper (34). The above-described design of the seatpost can prevent the saddle from being raised to an unexpected height for the rider.

    摘要： Height adjustable seat posts for bicycles are described herein. An example height adjustable seat post (200) includes an upper tube (204) and a lower tube (202) configured in a telescopic arrangement. The height adjustable seat post also includes a shaft (508) coupled to the lower tube and extending into the upper tube and a piston assembly (510) coupled to the shaft and disposed in the upper tube. The piston assembly includes a piston (512) dividing the upper tube into a first chamber (516) and a second chamber (518). The first and second chambers are filled with fluid. The piston assembly includes a valve (520) operable between a closed state in which the fluid is blocked from flowing between the first and second chambers and an open state to enable the fluid to flow between the first and second chambers. The height adjustable seat post also includes a solenoid (522) to control the valve.

    摘要： The present disclosure relates to a self-supporting rear splash guard (22) for a bicycle, the bicycle having a seat arrangement (2) comprising a seat (4), a pair of seat rails (10, 12) and a seat post (8), the seat (4) being connectable to the seat post (8) by means of the support system (6). The splash guard comprises a front portion (24), a central portion (26) and a rear portion (28). The splash guard is adapted to extend over the seat post, when the splash guard is mounted in the seat arrangement, whereby the front portion of the splash guard is adapted to be bent downwards to pass down through the pair of seat rails, when the splash guard is mounted in the seat arrangement. The front portion of the splash guard comprises a first fold line (132) at least partly, preferably completely, delimiting a tip portion from the rest of the front portion, such that the tip portion is located in front of the first fold line. The first fold line is curved in a forward direction, preferably having a shape of a V with a rounded apex or an arcuate shape. The tip portion is adapted to be folded at the first fold line from below upwards towards the pair of seat rails in front of the seat post, when the splash guard is mounted in the seat arrangement. The disclosure further relates to a method for mounting a splash guard to a seat arrangement of a bicycle.
