    摘要: Height adjustable seat posts for bicycles are described herein. An example height adjustable seat post (200) includes an upper tube (204) and a lower tube (202) configured in a telescopic arrangement. The height adjustable seat post also includes a shaft (508) coupled to the lower tube and extending into the upper tube and a piston assembly (510) coupled to the shaft and disposed in the upper tube. The piston assembly includes a piston (512) dividing the upper tube into a first chamber (516) and a second chamber (518). The first and second chambers are filled with fluid. The piston assembly includes a valve (520) operable between a closed state in which the fluid is blocked from flowing between the first and second chambers and an open state to enable the fluid to flow between the first and second chambers. The height adjustable seat post also includes a solenoid (522) to control the valve.

    摘要: An electric drive system (8) for an assisted pedaling bicycle (1) is provided, the system comprising:
    - a battery holder (9) with an attachment portion (10) for attaching the battery holder (9) externally to a frame tube (5, 6) of a bicycle (1), the battery holder (9) comprising a battery holding portion (11),
    - a battery (12) arranged to be removably received in the battery holding portion(11) of the battery holder (9),
    - an electric hub motor (13) for mounting on the front or rear wheel of the bicycle (1)
    - a motor controller (17) for controlling the power delivered to the hub motor (13) from the battery (12), whereby the motor controller (17) comprises attachment means (28, 36) for attachment to the bicycle frame (4) directly or indirectly via a controller holding bracket (18) attached to the bicycle frame (4),
    - a first cable (22) connecting the motor controller (17) to the hub motor (13), and a second cable (23) for connecting the motor controller (17) to the battery (12),
    - whereby the battery (12) comprises an integral control interface (14) for changing the assist level provided by the hub motor (13) and display means (16) for displaying information relating to the motor assist level or battery charge level.
