摘要: Provided are a cable protection member that is advantageous in improving efficiency of cable protection work and an aircraft lavatory unit equipped with a cable protection member that is advantageous in improving efficiency of protection work of a cable to be used in the aircraft lavatory unit and in protecting the cable. A cable protection member (56) includes a cable insertion hole (58) through which a cable (38) is inserted and a pair of protection member sections (56A, 56B) divided in a diameter direction of the cable insertion hole (58). The pair of protection member sections (56A, 56B) include diameter-direction coupling portions (63) to be immovably coupled to each other in the diameter direction of the cable insertion hole (58) with the pair of protection member sections (56A, 56B) coupled to each other. Coupling the pair of protection member sections (56A, 56B) with the cable (38) sandwiched therebetween with the diameter-direction coupling portions (63) allows the cable (38) to be easily and reliably covered and protected by the cable protection member (56) and is advantageous in improving efficiency of protection work of the cable (38).

摘要: A fill port assembly comprising : a housing (10') having an opening therethrough; a fill port (100) located in and extending through the opening defining a flow passage (111) through the fill port from a first end (101) to a second end (110), the flow passage having an axis defined between the first end and the second end; and a closure mechanism moveable between an open position in which the flow channel is open and allows fluid flow therethrough and a closed position in which the flow channel is closed and prevents fluid flow therethrough, wherein the closure mechanism comprises: a cap (300) attached at a first side (300a) of the cap to a first side of the housing (10'a) via a hinge (400), the cap pivotable about the hinge between an open position with respect to the fill port and a closed position to close the second end of the fill port, and a catch assembly (500) provided between a second side (300b) of the cap, opposite the first side, and a second side (10'b) of the housing, opposite the first side, to releasably secure the cap in the closed position, wherein the catch assembly comprises a spring latch part (700) secured in a channel (800) at the second side of the housing, the spring latch part having first and second end pins (731, 732) and a spring (710) between the first and second end pins, the spring biased to extend the first and second end pins beyond the respective ends of the channel, the catch assembly further comprising opposing first and second catch arms (610a, 610b) extending from the second side of the cap arranged to cooperate respectively with the first and second ends of the spring latch part as the cap is pivoted about the hinge to the closed position, the first and second catch arms each having a respective inwardly facing recess (612a, 612b) in which the respective ends of the spring latch part are received when the cap is moved to the closed position.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method for operating an on-board water supply and distribution system (1) of an aircraft (3) for supplying water, the system comprising a central water tank (9), a central pump (21), having an upstream side (23) and a downstream side (25) and being capable of conveying and pressurizing water from the upstream side (23) to the downstream side (25), a plurality of consumer assemblies (5), each consumer assembly (5) comprising a supply device (7) and a buffer tank (41), wherein the buffer tank (41) of each of the consumer assemblies (5) comprises a pressurizing device (61) configured for applying a consumer pressure to the water kept in the buffer tank (41), and each consumer assembly (5) being configured to supply water from the buffer tank (41) via the supply device (7), and a high-pressure conduit system (27), wherein the central water tank (9) is connected to the upstream side (23), wherein the high-pressure conduit system (27) connects the downstream side (25) with the plurality of consumer assemblies (5), with the high-pressure conduit system (27) being configured such that the central pump (21), when operating is capable of delivering water from the downstream side to the buffer tank (41) of each of the consumer assemblies (5), the method comprising the following steps: operating the central pump (21) such that water in the high-pressure conduit system (27) is pressurized to a predetermined first pressure; monitoring the pressure in the high-pressure conduit system (27) for a predetermined first period of time; and providing a first failure signal when the pressure in the high-pressure conduit system (27) drops below a predetermined second pressure within the first period of time.

摘要: A switch system that includes a switch assembly with a housing having a bottom surface that includes a latch pocket defined therein. The latch pocket includes a top surface and the housing defines an interior that includes either a magnetic switch or a magnet disposed therein. One of the magnetic switch or magnet is positioned adjacent the top surface of the latch pocket in the other is associated with the distal end of latch bolt. The system also includes a latch bolt. When the latch bolt is in the unlatched position it is not received in the latch pocket, the magnetic switch is in the first state and an electrical component is in a first state. When the latch bolt is in the latched position it is received in the latch pocket, the magnetic switch is in the second state and the electrical component is switched to a second state.
