    摘要: The present disclosure relates to a method for manufacturing a lens comprising the following steps:
    a. Providing a mass mallyl of at least one allyl monomer or allyl oligomer,
    b. Providing a radical initiator composition comprising benzoyl peroxide (BPO) in mixture with water,
    c. Mixing said at least one allyl monomer or allyl oligomer with the radical initiator composition to obtain a polymerizable composition,
    d. Stripping the water from the polymerizable composition to obtain a dried polymerizable composition,
    e. Providing a mold assembly and filling the mold assembly with the dried polymerizable composition,
    f. Curing the dried polymerizable composition in the mold assembly to obtain the lens.
    The invention also provides a polymerizable composition for the manufacture of a lens that is characterised by reduce yellowing.
