摘要： Cleansing bar compositions having high water content comprise: (a) at least about 15%, by weight of the composition, of water; (b) from about 40% to about 84%, by weight of the composition, of soap; and (c) from about 1% to about 15%, by weight of the composition, of inorganic salt. The bar compositions further comprise a component selected from the group consisting of carbohydrate structurant, free fatty acid, synthetic surfactants, and mixtures thereof. The bar compositions preferably have a Water Activity ('Aw') of less than about 0.95, preferably less than about 0.90, and more preferably less than about 0.85. The bar compositions are preferably manufactured by a milling process.

The structurant provides enhanced structural integrity, hardness, slough and wear- and crack-resistant characteristics to the bar. A method of preparing the detergent soap composition comprising mixing in a crutcher, the soap, water and TSPP at a temperature above 80°C and subsequently removing excess moisture at a temperature above about 80°C for a time sufficient to reduce the total water content of the mixture to from 6-14% by weight, followed by cooling and forming into a bar, is also disclosed.

摘要： A particulate detergent composition for fabric condition- ng includes, in addition to a detergency active material, from 10-40%of a mixture of tripolyphosphate and orthophosphate in the ratio of 20:1 to 3:1 together with 2-25% of a mixture of soap and an anionic polyelectrolyte in the ratio of 10:1 to 1:1. Any pyrophosphate present must be kept below 5%. The soap and polyelectrolyte result in reduced deposition of inorganic materials onto the fabrics. The preferred polyelectrolyte is sodium polyacrylate with a molecular weight of about 27,000. The composition may also include conventional additional ingredients.
