A degumming device in which a silk fabric can be suspended easily and can be degummed uniformly. Radial arms (26) are provided in a cylindrical degumming kier (11). A silk fabric is suspended spirally from the arms by attaching its top edge to hooks provided on the arms. In this state, a gap is present between the adjacent layers of the spirally suspended silk fabric. Since degumming solution can smoothly flow through the gap, the silk fabric can be degummed uniformly. While degumming, the arms are gradually swung upwards so that the distances between the adjacent arms narrow gradually. With this arrangement, the top edge of the silk fabric is allowed to shrink at the same rate as its bottom edge.

A folding device for a machine for treating, particularly steaming, folded printed fabrics is described. The device is constituted essentially by a rotary arm lift (S) which lifts individual support rods (20) for the folded fabric in succession from a condition in which the rods are suspended from endless conveyor chains (10) to a condition in which the rods (20) rest on rails (28) located above the active passes (16) of the chains, which drawthe rods (20) carrying the folded fabric (F) through the treatment chamber (1) of the machine.

A machine for treating folded printed fabrics, comprising: a frame (200), delimiting at least one fabric (40) treatment chamber (1), the latter being equipped with an inlet (6) and an outlet (7) for the fabric (40); a conveyor (T) for advancing the fabric within said chamber (1), comprising: a pair of endless chains (10, 11), each chain (10, 11) having an active or advance branch (16) extending between said inlet (6) and said outlet (7); a motion structure (M3, 12, 13, 14, 15) for promoting the advance of said chains (10, 11). The machine further comprises a plurality of fabric supporting rods (20), each rod (20) having its ends supported by said chains (10, 11), said rods (20) being associated with said chains (10, 11) such that they can be moved from a first position in which they are hung to said chains (10, 11) to a second position above said chains (10, 11); an overturning structure (300), configured for selectively moving said rods (20) from said first position to said second position.

A device for forming fabric folds in a machine for treating fabrics, particularly a folded fabric steaming machine, comprising a fabric treatment chamber (1), equipped with an inlet (6) and an outlet (7) of the fabric and a chain conveyor (T) for advancing the fabric in said chamber (1). The conveyor comprises rods (20), whereon folds are formed and supported, which are mounted on the conveyor by means of arms (24). The device provides two shaped plates (30) whereon the arms (24) supporting the rods (20) slide. When the fabric advances, the arms (24) are overturned by lifting the rods (20), from a condition hung to the transport chains in the ascending tract (18) thereof, to a condition resting on rails (28) arranged above the active branches (16) of said chains.

A device for reducing the consume of urea and/or hygroscopic chemical substances, in paste materials for printing cotton, viscose and the like fabrics, includes, upstream of a steaming chamber, a pre-moistening chamber, into which there is introduced saturated steam as well as, in a continuous manner, a printed fabric material. This printed fabric material is caused to pass, for at least a length thereof, through the pre-moistening chamber and, for at least a length thereof, through environment air, in order to be cooled, and then being immediately again introduced into the pre-moistening chamber.
