    摘要: A trash rack for filtering large volumes of intake water generally of the type available to power-generating facilities. The trash rack includes reinforcing rods fabricated of non-metallic materials in a pultrusion fabrication process. The pultruded reinforcing rods are substantially lighter than prior steel reinforcing rods. The pultruded rods are flexible enough to give under impact and high-loading without fracture or permanent distortion, yet are strong enough to withstand the type of loading commonly experienced by such large-volume trash racks.

    摘要: Coverings for structures which can be installed in the ground are known. For example, these are drainage channels or manholes. In order to lock the covering on the structure, closures are known which comprise a snap bolt which is designed in such a way and is mounted movably on the covering (20) against the force of a spring device in such a way that, during closing of the covering (20), the snap bolt is forced back and snaps in behind a counterbearing (14, 14') fixed to the structure in a closure position. To simplify the arrangement and also to improve durability, it is proposed that the snap bolt is mounted in a housing (40) which can be fastened in a housing receptacle of the covering (20).

    摘要: The invention relates to a method and system for cleaning a water system, especially a flowing water system (5), such as a ditch, brook or river. Typically when cleaning a water system in accordance with the invention - a filter (2, 18) is held in the water system, which filter has a filter volume (12) equipped at least partly with walls (3, 7, 24, 25, 26) of filter cloth, whereby a part of the filter cloth is held at the bottom (6) of the water system at least essentially in the direction of the bottom, whereby solid material is sedimented onto it, - water from the water system is guided into the filter volume (12) and out thereof through the filter cloth, - solid material (28) in the water system is collected into the filter volume (12), - the solid material is removed from the water system in such a way that the filter is lifted out from the water system, so that the solid material mainly stays in the filter volume of the filter, and water runs out from the filter volume through the cloth of the filter.
