Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren und eine Anordnung zur Entnahme und Verbringung von Sediment aus Binnengewässern. Aufgabe ist es, eine betriebswirtschaftlich vorteilhafte Lösung für die Restauration von Binnengewässern anzugeben, durch welche die Effizienz entsprechender Maßnahmen verbessert, und die ökologische Belastung verringert wird. Dazu wird das Sediment zusammen mit Wasser vom Gewässerboden aufgenommen und das mit dem Sediment befrachtete Wasser mittels wenigstens einer Pumpe über ein Rohrleitungssystem, mit Verteilern und Schieberanlagen, unmittelbar sowie ohne Zwischenlagerung zu den zur Ausbringung vorgesehenen landwirtschaftlichen Nutzflächen transportiert sowie dort, weiterhin ohne Zwischenlagerung, als nährstoffhaltiges Wasser verregnet.

The invention concerns a method for mining sand or gravel from a sand or gravel deposit at the bottom of a body of water, comprising the following steps:
i) providing mining machinery capable of conveying sand or gravel from a mining position at the bottom of said water to a desired location, said mining position being at a level relatively lower than the upper limit of said deposit of sand or gravel to be mined; ii) providing water injection means capable of injecting water into the sand or gravel deposit iii) injecting water into said deposit by said injection means such that said injection is performed substantially directly into the surface of said deposit, in an amount and at a rate selected so that the sand or gravel and the injected water form a liquefied layer, said liquefied layer being capable of flowing under the influence of gravity from the place of said deposit to the lower level mining position, and iiii) mining said sand or gravel by means of said mining machinery, after said sand or gravel has flown from said deposit to said mining position.

The basin includes a longitudinal, flexible pipe unit which is shaped such that it can seal the edges of the sluice. The pipe unit can move up and down within the basin by filling the pipe with a fluid, i.e. water or air. Depending on the initial position of the pipe, upward or downward movement causes the pipe to seal against the edges of the sluice. By adjusting the amount of water and air in the pipe, it is possible to adjust the extent to which the sluice is sealed.

An apparatus for mounting adjacent the bottom of a waterway having a current for impeding the deposition of suspended sediments upon the bottom of the waterway. A buoyant wing member having leading and trailing edges with substantially flat top and bottom surfaces includes a flap member spanning the wing member and extends at a predetermined upward angle away from the top surface towards the leading edge. The apparatus is mounted with the flap member facing the bottom of the waterway wherein the fluid in the wake is accelerated upwards away from the waterway bottom so as to resuspend fine sediments. When the wing member is mounted with the flap member directed away from the waterway bottom the wake is directed downwards against the bottom causing scouring of the waterway bottom.
