The invention pertains to s bus stop shelter (2) comprising an elongated canopy (4) forming an overhead roof for the bus stop shelter, at least two wall sections (6, 8, 10), said canopy and wall sections being supported by a framework (16) mounted on a sidewalk, said canopy and wall sections defining a partially enclosed covered space providing shade and shelter for people within said enclosed covered space, wherein the canopy is formed from a biocomposite material, said biocomposite material being formed by a matrix comprising one or more at least in part biodegradable plastics and a reinforcement of at least one layer of woven mats of natural fibers, wherein both the biodegradable plastics and the natural fibers are derived from renewable natural resources. The invention also pertains to a method of manufacturing such a canopy for a bus shelter.

At least partly of wood made elongated lighting column, fixture or beam construction, a body blank (2, 6, 10, 14, 16, 19, 22, 25) of which comprises many side by side locating wood elements (11, 15, 17, 26) or planks (1) which have been glued to each other forming an uniform full up or lengthened body blank (2, 6, 10, 14, 16, 19, 22, 25), from which blanks the desired elongated construction is formed or from which blanks other elongated construction having desired profile can be machined. The mentioned side by side mounted wood elements or planks are pressure impregnated by means of a wood protection medium containing water glass and after that said elements are glued to each other forming of body blanks (2, 6, 10, 14, 16, 19, 22, 25) for said elongated construction.
摘要:
The present invention relates a cantilever structure and in particular to a structural element for use within the cantilever structure e.g. a canopy, carport, veranda or patio cover. The structural element provides not only load bearing support for the cantilever structure but also provides one or more supply conduits for the structure. Described embodiments disclose the use of the supply conduits as part of a substantially internal drainage system for the cantilever structure. In these embodiments water can be drained off of the cantilever structure while remaining hidden from view. In an alternative embodiment a supply conduit may be employed to house electrical equipment required for use by the cantilever structure e.g. sound and lighting equipment. During operation the electrical equipment can be safely operated as it remains isolated from the drainage system of the cantilever structure as well as being protected from external weather conditions.

The invention relates to a bath tub or shower tray or sanitary basins or to a sanitary article comprised of at least one plate-shaped element (11), which is shaped in a manner that corresponds to the shape of the tub/tray and to which at least one luminous means (16) is assigned. Said luminous means radiates light from the face and into the plate-shaped element, whereby this light is emitted as diffused light over the surface of the plate-shaped element at an angle to the direction of irradiation.

The invention relates to public outdoor furnishings comprising at least one window element (100) with a frame structure that includes at least one glass pane, in addition to an illumination device with at least one illumination element. The invention is characterised in that the illumination element irradiates at least one glass pane (101) with light, from the front face of the frame structure (113), said light being at least partially deflected in an approximately perpendicular direction to that of the irradiation, in such a way that it is transferred over the surface of the glass pane of the window element towards one side and/or the other. At least one of the glass panes (101) diffuses the light and is printed, sandblasted, etched, coated, engraved or has particles bonded to it for this purpose, or the interior of said glass pane has a flawed structure. A number of illumination units with low energy consumption that are located on the front face of the frame structure constitute the illumination elements.
