The leg comprises a fixed length section(22)and an adjustable length section (24). The leg is hingedly connected to the engagement wall and is movable between a bracing position in which it extends at a first angle to the engagement wall and a released position in which it extends at a smaller angle to the engagement wall. The door brace has a released condition in which the leg is in the released position and the adjustable length section of the leg has a first length and a bracing condition in which the leg is in the bracing position and the adjustable length section of the leg has a longer length.

摘要： A door block (9) serving for blocking a door (2), which is side-hinged on a casing (3) around an opening in a container wall, against being opened by unauthorised persons. The door block comprises a rotatable closing rod (5), a handle (6) on the closing rod and a cam (7) fitted on the closing rod for engaging a keeper (8) on the casing when the door is closed and the closing rod rotated into closed position by means of the handle. The door block furthermore comprises a, seen in cross section, mainly U-shaped covering (14) having a body (16) and two flaps (17) projecting from this body, and in the blocking position extending across the closing rod with a piece of this rod located in flushing cuts (18) in the flaps and the handle encompassed between the body and the flaps; a catch hook (19) pivotally mounted in the covering for locking the closing rod in the cuts of the flaps by means of a projection (26) on the catch hook; and a lock (13) for locking the catch hook in its locking position. The door block has a simple and effective structure. It is easy to apply as it does not require any use of tools nor any kind of manipulation in the structure of the respective door. It is furthermore difficult to break open, and a possible burglary is clearly revealed by the condition in which the door block will be left by the burglary.

Der Schaft (11) ragt vertikal nach oben aus der Aufnahme (12) heraus und weist an seinem herausragenden Ende (26) einen Querträger (23) auf, der sich beidseitig von dem Schaft erstreckt. Wenn die Tür geöffnet wird, schlägt sie an dem Querträger (23) an, so daß sich der gesamte Türanschlag in der Aufnahme (12) verdreht und in flächige Anlage mit der Tür (16) gelangt. Ein weiteres Öffnen der Tür nach Anschlagen an dem Türanschlag wird dadurch verhindert.
In bevorzugter Ausgestaltung hat der Querträger (23) vorragende Endstücke (47,48). Wenn der Anschlag so in die Aufnahme eingesetzt wird, daß die Endstücke in Richtung auf die Tür vorragen, wird ein Öffnen der Tür vollständig verhindert. Wenn der Anschlag um 180° gedreht in die Aufnahme eingesetzt ist, funktioniert er wie oben beschrieben.
An der Tür (16) ist zweckmäßig eine steife Anschlagplatte (38) angeordnet, die die Andruckkraft zwischen Tür und Anschlag gleichmäßig auf eine große Fläche verteilt.
