The reinforcing plate 6 is annular and has a plate base 6a that is embedded in a flange 3D and a lower side part 3B2 of the lower case 3.

A first joining end (6) of the material strip (2) has a projection (3), and a second joining end (8) has a recess (4) which interacts with the projection (3), a base side (9) of the projection (3) being oriented towards the first joining end (5). A bushing (1) is to be provided which is designed to be more advantageous with respect to the production method, in particular during the forming process, and with respect to dimensional tolerance and prolonged stability. This is achieved by a bushing (1) with clamping elements (3, 4), wherein the joining ends (6, 8) of the material strip (2) are fixed both in the axial direction (21) as well as the circumferential direction (19) of the bushing (1) in a frictional and/or formfitting manner.
