A system is described for sealed connection between a pair of tubular sections (3, 2a) intended to convey a gaseous fluid under pressure, wherein the sections are capable of relative orientation from and towards a preselected positioning at which they are rigidly connected to each other with a sealed connection. The system comprises nesting coupling means, respectively provided on one and the other of the tubular sections coaxially engageable with each other, gastight sealing means between the tubular sections, axial checking means (6, 7) between the nesting coupling means for holding one of the tubular sections relative to the other section in the direction of mutual axial coupling (X). The system also comprises removable locking means (10) between the sections (3, 2a) for rigidly locking the tubular sections to each other in the state of preselected relative positioning, wherein the locking means (10) for the relative orientation between the sections are independent of the axial checking means (6, 7), such that the gastight seal is ensured in the state in which the tubular sections are freely orientable with respect to each other without any action of the locking means.

The device comprises a connector (2) which has a first end (2a) which can be associated with a pipe (3) and a second end (2b) starting from which there is a substantially cylindrical or conical seat (4), and a substantially cylindrical or conical sleeve (5) which can be coupled to the seat and is provided at one end of the component to be connected to the pipe. Sealing means (6) are interposed between the seat (4) and the sleeve (5). The sleeve (5) has, on the outer lateral surface of its portion which can be inserted in the seat, at least one axial shoulder (9), which is directed in the opposite direction with respect to the end of the sleeve which can be inserted in the seat (4) and can be positioned, with the insertion of the sleeve (5) in the seat (4), at at least one passage (7) which is defined in the portion of the connector which is occupied by the seat (4) and interferes with the lateral surface of the seat. The passage (7) lies along a substantially rectilinear direction which is perpendicular to the axis of the seat and can be occupied by a locking pin (8) which defines an abutment for the shoulder in order to prevent the axial extraction of the sleeve from the seat.

There are preferably two of said guide cones coaxially aligned and tangential to the guide post socket (4), to create an operating channel inside the socket (4). The guide post (8) is itself provided with a channel (10) around its bottom to house a locking pin (12). The guide post (8) is placed inside its respective socket (4) so that the operating channel inside the socket (4), created by the aligned guide cones (6) exactly matches the channel (10) around the bottom of the socket, so that locking of the guide post (8) takes place by means of turning the locking pin (12), housed in the channel (10) around the guide post (8), by means of a remotely operated vehicle or other suitable tool.
