摘要: The invention relates to a method and to an arrangement to align a first component (C1) and a second component (C2). The first component (C1) comprises guiding means (GMC1) and the second component (C2) comprises guiding means (CMC2), while these guiding means are prepared and arranged to interact with each other. The guiding means (GMC1, GMC2) of the components (C1, C2) are prepared and arranged to align the components (C1, C2) to each other while the components (C1, C2) are moved towards each other for their final connection. The guiding means (GMC1) of the first component (C1) comprises an optical camera system (OCS), which is used to monitor the change of the position of the guiding means (GMC2) of the second component (C2) in reference to the position of the guiding means (GMC1) of the first component. The optical camera system (OCS) is connected with a remote display (DIS) enabling working personnel to direct the movement of the components (C1, C2) based on the monitored position changes.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a directionally filtered indicator light, wherein a directional filter is applied to a light source that is controlled to emit light when a condition or series of conditions are met. The directional filter, in turn, regulates the transmission of light from the light source so that a first group of individuals, located within a viewing angle, are the only individuals able to see the transmitted light. In one embodiment, the directionally filtered indicator light of the present disclosure allows an indicator light on the interior of a passenger aircraft to be viewed from outside the aircraft in direct sunlight while substantially eliminating the presence of transmitted light from a passenger seating area.

In one aspect, a deboning machine includes a housing, a bearing supported by the housing, a separation chamber supported by the housing and including perforations defined through the separation chamber from an interior surface to an exterior surface, an auger including a shaft and a flute formed about the shaft with the auger extending through the separation chamber and the flute adapted to be positioned a working distance from the interior surface of the separation chamber. The deboning machine also includes a retainer rotatably supported by the bearing with the auger extending through the retainer, a nut rotatably coupled to a threaded portion of the auger and rotation of the moves the flute relative to the separation chamber to establish the working distance between the flute and the interior surface of the separation chamber.

摘要: A filter arrangement for threadably securing to a filter head includes a housing having a surrounding wall defining an interior volume, an open mouth providing access to the interior volume and an end opposite of the open mouth. The surrounding wall has an exterior and an interior. A filter media construction is operably held within the interior volume. A sleeve, distinct from the housing, is secured to the exterior of the surrounding wall adjacent to the housing mouth and extending partially along the surrounding wall. The sleeve has an exterior and an interior. The exterior of the sleeve defines mounting threads constructed and arranged to removably mount with the filter head, when the filter arrangement is secured to the filter head. The interior of the sleeve is against the exterior of the surrounding wall. A first seal member is oriented against the sleeve to create a seal with a filter head, when the filter arrangement is secured to the filter head. A filter assembly includes a filter arrangement and a filter head. The filter arrangement is removably secured to the filter head by a threaded connection between the sleeve and the filter head. A system includes an engine utilizing a liquid and a filter assembly in fluid communication with the engine to filter the liquid. Methods of making filter arrangements include utilizing structures characterized above.

摘要: Roots-type blowers with helical cycloidal rotors exhibit variation in leakback flow with angular position intrinsic to these rotor geometries. Calibration of individual blowers using a combination of high-resolution alignment and enhanced detection of residual noise phenomena permits noise in as-produced blowers to be significantly attenuated. Intrinsic lower limits of noise induced by leakback variation are associated with manufacturing tolerances, necessary clearances, and particular geometric considerations. Gross alignment, errors (excluding contact between rotors) produce a characteristic noise pulse rate that is three times the shaft, rate. Proper alignment suppresses this and reveals a pulse sequence at double this rate and at about half of the amplitude of faulty alignment. The novel process explains the error mechanisms and defines repeatable calibration methods for a mass-production environment, introducing appropriate gauges and methods for the task.

摘要: An optical fiber cable connector includes a ferrule subassembly, in which a ferrule is mounted into a receptacle including a barrel section having a flange at its base. The ferrule subassembly is loaded into an enclosure having a plug housing at its lead end. The plug housing is configured to provide a connection between an endface of a multicore fiber mounted into the ferrule and a corresponding surface in a mating socket. A collar is rotatably mounted onto the barrel section of the ferrule subassembly such that it butts up against the flange. The collar has an opening that fits around the barrel section, and an outer perimeter that fits into a receiving cavity with the plug housing. The ferrule, receptacle, receptacle barrel section, mounted multicore fiber, enclosure, and plug housing have a common longitudinal axis. As a result, the ferrule, receptacle, receptacle barrel section, and mounted multicore fiber are continuously rotatable with respect to the enclosure and plug housing, thereby enabling a precise rotational alignment of the multicore fiber within the enclosure.
