    caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend en outre une enveloppe creuse (12a, 12b) disposée autour de la paroi latérale (11) de sorte à recouvrir au moins 50% de sa surface, l'air de combustion et/ou de refroidissement circulant dans ladite enveloppe creuse (12a, 12b) avant d'être introduit dans la cellule (10).

Die Kühlsystemsteuerung (32) ist dazu ausgestaltet, das Schaltventil (311) eines jeden Kühlmoduls (31, 31', 31 ") entsprechend einer Differenz (DT1) zwischen der jeweiligen ersten lokalen Temperatur (T1) und einer Solltemperatur (ST) so anzusteuern, dass Pulslänge und/oder Pulsfrequenz des Kühlflüssigkeitsstrahls (4) geeignet sind, dass nach einer Umdrehung (2Un+1) des Ofenmantels (2) die Stelle (S1) des Ofenmantels (2), an der eine Umdrehung (2Un) zuvor die erste lokale Temperatur (T1) gemessen wurde, dann eine erste lokale Temperatur (T1') aufweist, die näher an der Solltemperatur (ST) liegt als bei der vorangegangenen Messung, wobei die Differenz (DT1-U) zwischen den ersten lokalen Temperaturen (T1, T1') dieser beiden Messungen aber weniger als 30K, vorzugsweise weniger als 15K, beträgt.

    摘要: A reactor for incinerating and melting materials such as waste and/or toxic materials has a containment housing (2) inside of which an upright, open-ended drum (10) is rotatably mounted. Incineration heat is supplied by a plasma torch (25) which is mounted to the containment housing and extends into the drum. A steel throat ring (40) concentric with the discharge opening (12) is connected with the exterior of the drum; e.g. an outer drum wall, by grounding arms (50) which extend non-radially; e.g. tangentially from a periphery (56) of the throat ring to the inside surface (58) of the drum wall, so that electric discharge from the torch (25) to the upwardly oriented surfaces (92, 94) of the throat ring (40) and the grounding arms (50) is possible. The throat ring and the grounding arms are otherwise embedded in insulating refractory material carried by a rotating base plate (68) of the drum which has a radially open, horizontally disposed slit (78) that extends radially from a periphery of the base plate to the vicinity of the discharge opening. Several cooling water nozzles (112) are mounted to the containment housing (2) opposite the slit (78) for directing cooling water jets radially into the slit. The rotation of the drum generates centrifugal forces which aid in the removal of the cooling water from the slit.
