Thus, a heat exchanger and a water heater capable of sufficiently conducting an amount of heat of a combustion gas to a heat conduction pipe even in a blind spot of a flow of the combustion gas of the heat conduction pipe and suppressing noise can be realized.

The purpose of the invention is the design (construction) of the flue (1) of the solid fuel boiler system. The design which causes the effect of turbulence in the flue and at the same time is easy to disassemble and clean. It consists of the following: the inlet (2), the flue channel (3), the turbulence plates (4), the heat exchanger (5), the free passage (6), the outlet (7), and the inspection aperture (8). The main distinctive feature is the turbulence plates (4), which consist of the following structural elements: the bottom support (9), two upper supports (10), the body (11) and the notch (12). The said turbulence plates are called turbulence because they force gas (fumes) to stop itself in the flue, to rotate, and to flow around the obstacle. In boiler flue these plates are installed at a certain angle and stop the outgoing fumes; the latter spend a longer time in the heat exchanger and give a larger amount heat to it. In the design of the invention the aforementioned turbulence plates are not able to "burn" as they touch the small surface of the flue, also they are much easier to clean. The design of the invention is particularly well suited for solid fuel gas generation boilers, however it is also suitable for all equipment of the solid fuel boilers of the bottom and side combustion.

An auxiliary heat exchanger for the flue gases of an oil-fired or gas-fired central heating boiler, has a box-like water chamber (10) with two relatively large opposed external surfaces (12) spaced apart by a relatively small distance. There is a water inlet (16) to and a water outlet (17) from the chamber (10). A box-like casing (11) surrounds the external surfaces (12) with a small clearance, the casing having a flue gas inlet (32) and a flue gas outlet (33). The casing (11) has an open side wall so that the casing is removable from the chamber (10) for servicing by sliding the casing relative to the chamber. A seal arrangement (23) closes the space between the casing and the chamber.

A boiler is described comprising a heat exchanger 1 having a rear tank 2, side tanks 3 and 4, a front tank 9, a top 7 and base 13 which together define an enclosure through which products of combustion form a burner 21 (Fig. 3) are fed to an outlet 8, and a divider member 15, possibly in the form of a further tank, disposed between the top 7 and base 13, which divides the enclosure into a lower combustion chamber and an upper chamber, the divider member 15 being provided with a plurality of holes 16 for feeding the products of combustion from the lower chamber to the upper chamber. The upper chamber is provided with fins 17 and retarders 23 (Fig. 3) for increasing heat exchanger efficiency (Fig. 1).

In diesem Allbandkessel sind dem Feuerungsraum (1) große doppelwandige spiralförmige Nachheizflächen (4) nachgeschaltet, die einen hohen Wirkungsgrad erreichen und strömungsgünstige Merkmale aufweisen. Die Heizfläche läßt sich durch eine Umlenkvorrichtung (25) stufenlos vergrößern oder verkleinern, um sich der jeweiligen Abgastemperatur und der geforderten Heizleistung anzupassen. Dies wird durch Messen, bzw. Abtasten der Abgastemperatur mittels Bi-Metall oder Thermostat erreicht. Bei geforderter Schwachlast läßt sich die Heizfläche durch den Beipass (31) mit der Umlenkklappe (32) in der drehbar gelagerten Abschlußplatte (19) besonders anpassungsfähig verkleinern, um die Verstottung des Heizkessel und des Schornstein zu vermeiden. Damit die Reinigung der Spirale leicht durchgeführt werden kann, ist in der drehbar gelagerten Abschlußplatte (19) verschließbare Reinigungsöffnung (21) angeordnet, durch die das Reinigungsgerät in den heißen und verschloßenen Spiralheizteil eingeführt werden kann. Durch leichtes und oftmaliges Reinigen, läßt sich der hohe Wirkungsgrad durch Verhinderung der Rußbildung erhalten.
