    摘要： The present invention relates to a heating device (1), particularly a booster heater (1') for a motor vehicle, having a housing (2) in which a flow chamber (6) is arranged and through which a fluid is able to pass in a flow direction (10), wherein an electric heating element (11) is arranged inside the flow chamber (6) to heat the fluid that flows through the flow chamber (6), and which is controllable via at least one electrical component (20) that is provided on a printed circuit board (7) that is arranged inside housing (2). It is essential for the purposes of the invention that the heating device (1) comprise a flow guidance element (15) with a diversion section (16) for diverting the fluid that flows in flow direction (10) towards the printed circuit board (7).

There is also provided a heater that includes a temperature sensing device, the temperature sensing device includes: a sensing plate mounted on a metallic component in the environment to be heated; and an electrical contact connected to the sensing plate, wherein the electrical contact is thermally coupled with the metallic component via the sensing plate. There is further provided a method of controlling a heater that includes a temperature sensing device that it is thermally connected to a solid component in the environment to be heated.
