In this case, the temperature of the freshfood compartment (1) is used and the compressor (4) is re-actuated by switching on the heater (3) in order to avoid the unnecessary long inoperative state of the compressor (4) and the rising of the freezer compartment (2) temperature above the desired temperature value. In the method of the present invention, the moment for the actuation of the heater (3) is dynamically determined, depending on the operating rate of the compressor (4).
