Um zu erreichen, daß ein derartiges Verschlußsystem (1) einfach aufgebaut ist und eine Zündung der Patrone nur dann erfolgt, wenn der Verschluß (2) auf beiden Seiten sicher verriegelt ist, wird vorgeschlagen, daß der Schlagbolzen (19) zwei gegenüberliegende Fangkanten (17,18) enthält, in die der jeweils zweite Arm (15,16) der Sperrhebel (7,8) in der Verriegelungsposition des Schlagbolzens (19) eingreift.

The weapon (200 300) comprises a main body (100) which, in addition to the weapon barrel (3), carries all the subassemblies for shooting, including triggering, ammunition (21) or cartridges or the like. This includes the subassemblies for feeding ammunition (21) and also for locking a breech (4) in the system. Furthermore, the main body (100) comprises a gas duct (109) (gas duct bore) needed for the independence drive and having a gas piston (G), which can be constructed in the conventional way, as in an independently driven weapon (200). The breech (4) or breech support (5) is controlled and therefore locked by a wedge-like block (6) that can be displaced vertically in relation to the breech (4), so that a positively locking connection is produced between the weapon housing (10) and the breech (4) or breech support (5).
