    摘要: A float-type liquid level gauge is provided for measuring the level of a liquid such as LPG within a horizontally oriented cylindrical tank (228). The gauge includes a movable pivot arm (212) supporting a float arm assembly (225) and coupled by gears (207, 214) to a magnet shaft (206, 208) and magnet (210) mounted in a rigid support arm (204) through a sideways-securing shaft channel (209). The support arm is connected to the lower side of a gauge head (202) and the magnet extends into a passage (52) in the gauge head so as to be magnetically coupled to a level indicating dial (226) provided on the upper side of the gauge head. The lower portion (302) of the support arm is angled and offset with respect to a longitudinal axis (265) such that a high ratio can be obtained between the gears while still permitting the components of the gauge to pass through the opening of a standard pressure fitting (234).

    摘要: A fuel gauge unit for a fuel tank which, when the gauge unit is attached to the fuel tank, is fixed in its rotational angle in a simple fashion and at a low cost; and in which the fuel scale is simple, inexpensive, and easy to inspect visually.
    These goals are achieved in accordance with the invention by an indicator 22a which moves back and forth in a horizontal plane when a bearing 22 connected to a float 22b rotates, the position of the indicator corresponding to a fuel scale, so that the quantity of fuel in the fuel tank 1 can be determined by inspecting the gauge. On the top of the gauge unit is a protruding rectangular portion 17b with a transparent window 17a. This protruding rectangular portion 17b engages in a hole 16a in the cover plate 16 attached to the fuel tank 1. The protruding rectangular portion 17b and its hole 16a may have a rectangular or oblong surface which serves as a rotational position lock for the gauge unit.

(Erd-, Hydro-und Halbhydrokulturen sollen mit einem großen Vorrat von hochqualitativem Wasser, das im Bereich neben den Wurzelballen angeordnet ist, versorgt werden - bei optimaler Wasserstandsanzeigemöglichkeit.) - Die Erfindungsvorrichtung löst die Problemstellung im wesentlichen durch einen wasserdichten Trenntopf (10, 14,15 8 ), der mit einem kapillaren Tontopf (7,9) derart ineinander steht, daß ein Teil des Tontopfs den Wurzelballen aufnimmt, und ein weiteres Teil (7 b ,9 a ) den Trenntopf 'überspringt' und bodenseits im Wasser einsteht - wodurch die Pflanze über den permanent feuchten Tontopfschaft (7,9) bewässert wird, bei guter Wurzelbelüftung.-Der Wasserstand ist in einer Variante durch einen Teilkreisförmigen Stab (6 a ) zu ersehen, der über einen Schwimmkörper (6 b ) und einer 'Speiche' (6°) in einem Drehpunkt (6 d ) gelagert ist. Von dort bewegt sich der Anzeigestab (6 a ) je nach dem Wasserstand kreisbogenförmig (6 9 ) flach über dem Substrat/Granulat (11,12).-Ein flexibles Folien-Vliesbehältnis (16) mit u. To protect said sensor from damage during transportation within a fuel tank assembly, the at least one resistive area 15, 16 is covered by a temporary barrier layer 19 of material to prevent fretting between the contacts on the wiper 10 and the at least one resistive area. Barrier layer 19 is formed of a material, such as petroleum jelly or shellac resin, which is dissolvable in the fuel. The thickness of barrier layer 19 is sufficient to eliminate fretting during transportation, but thin enough to dissolve in fuel, which may be petrol or diesel, on a first filling of the tank.
