Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Nachweis von Störungen des Protein C/Protein S-Systems durch ein Verfahren zum qualitativen Nachweis und zur quantitativen Bestimmung der funktionellen Aktivität des Protein C/Protein S-Systems der Gerinnung in einer Probe einer biologischen Flüssigkeit, das folgende Schritte einschließt:
a) Zugabe eines Aktivators des Protein C zu der verdünnten oder unverdünnten Probe; b) optionale Zugabe eines Kontaktphaseaktivators; c) Inkubation des Reaktionsansatzes; d) Start des Gerinnungsablaufes durch Zugabe von Kalziumionen und/oder anderen Gerinnungs-auslösenden Agenzien und e) Bestimmung der Gerinnungsaktivität.
