    摘要: Provided is a steam characteristics automatic measuring device capable of automatically, ideally also continuously measuring the characteristics of steam taken from a production well, without being affected by interfering components, such as hydrogen sulfide gas and carbon dioxide gas contained in large quantities in steam taken from under the ground, which enables the operator to continuously understand the characteristics of steam and support a smooth operation of a geothermal power plant. The device has a silica monitor for measuring a concentration of silica included in a condensate obtained by cooling steam taken from under the ground; an electrical conductivity meter for automatically measuring the electrical conductivity thereof; a pH meter for automatically measuring the pH value thereof; and a data processing transmitter for automatically transmitting data measured by each of the monitor and meters. A geothermal power-generating device equipped with the steam characteristics automatic measuring device is also provided.

    摘要: An electro-magnetic induction fluid conductivity sensor is described which includes a hollow non-conductive body defining a fluid chamber. The fluid chamber has a first end and a second end. A voltage transformer is provided which is capable of inducing an electric field into fluid positioned within the fluid chamber, thereby causing an electric current to flow through the fluid. An instrument is provide for measuring the electric current. A conductive shunt receives the electric current induced by the voltage transformer in the liquid at the first end of the sample chamber and returning the electric current to the second end to complete an electrical circuit.

    摘要: A sensor system that measures at least one parameter of water includes an electronics subsystem and includes a sensor housing electrically and mechanically coupled to the electronics subsystem. The sensor housing encloses a chamber that receives water via at least one inlet and that releases water via at least one outlet. At least one sensor has at least one electrode exposed to water in the chamber. A flow generator causes water to flow through the chamber. A plurality of objects within the chamber move in response to the water flow and abrasively clean the at least one electrode. Preferably, the sensor system includes a chlorine sensor having at least two electrodes. The electronics subsystem applies a first differential voltage between the two electrodes during a measurement interval and then applies a second differential voltage between the two electrodes during an interval following the measurement interval.
