摘要: The disclosure relates to a computer-implemented method for detecting an object (130) in the surroundings of a vehicle (110) having a detector array (240) configured for detecting an electromagnetic signal and being transmitter-free. According to the method, at least one electromagnetic signal having at least one first signal characteristic is received (S1) at the detector array (240) for a time span. The signal emanates from at least one stationary sender and/or from at least one illuminator vehicle. Subsequently, a presence or absence of the object (130) is determined based on an evolution of the at least one first signal characteristic over the time span (S2). Moreover, a detector system (230) for detecting an object (130) in the surroundings of a vehicle (110) is presented. Furthermore, a vehicle (110) comprising the detector system (230) is described. Additionally, the use of a detector system (230) and a traffic system (100) is explained. Also, a computer program (360) and a computer-readable storage medium (350) are shown.

摘要: This document describes techniques and systems to enable a radar system to jointly detect Do A and DoD angles in multipath scenarios. In some examples, an automotive radar system includes one or more processors. The processors obtain electromagnetic (EM) energy reflected by objects and generate, based on the reflected EM energy, a two-dimensional (2D) data matrix. The 2D data matrix has a number of rows corresponding to the number of antenna elements in a transmitter array and a number of columns corresponding to the number of antenna elements in a receiver array. Using the 2D data matrix, the processors can determine DoA estimates and DoD estimates in both monostatic and bistatic reflection scenarios. By comparing the DoA estimates to the DoD estimates, the processors determine angles associated with the objects with improved angular resolution and reduced cost.

mindestens ein Objekt, das mindestens einen Radar-Repeater umfasst, wobei der Radar-Repeater eingerichtet ist, das erste Signal zu empfangen, zu modulieren und das modulierte erste Signal als zweites Signal auszusenden und eine Reflexion des zweiten Signals zu empfangen, zu modulieren und das modulierte zweite Signal als drittes Signal auszusenden;
eine Auswerteeinheit, die eingerichtet ist, das von dem Radar-Empfänger empfangene zweite Signal und dritte Signal und/oder die Reflexion des ersten, zweiten und dritten Signals zu verarbeiten, auszuwerten und das Umfeld aus einer jeweiligen Perspektive des mindestens einen Radar-Repeaters zu berechnen.-

摘要: Joint communication and sensing by a joint communication and sensing system in a wireless network is disclosed. A transmitter is arranged to transmit a first beam in a direction selected from a plurality of directions stored in a memory, where each direction corresponds to a direction of a respective remote device. The first beam comprises communication symbols to be communicated to the remote device in the direction during a communication session with the remote device. A reflection of the transmitted first beam is received via a receive antenna during the communication session, where the reflected first beam comprises the communication symbols. A position of one or more objects is identified based on a timing of transmission and receipt of the communication symbols in the transmitted first beam and the reflected first beam respectively and the sense symbols in the transmitted second beam and the reflected second beam respectively.
