The display device comprises: a display panel; an optical assembly providing the display panel with light; and a light absorbing layer positioned on an optical path, the optical path leading to the display panel from the optical assembly, wherein the light provided from the optical assembly to the display panel includes a blue-based light, a green-based light, and a red-based light, wherein an intensity of the green-based light is 25% to 38% with respect to an intensity of the blue-based light 100%, and wherein an intensity of the red-based light is 14% to 32% with respect to the intensity of the blue-based light 100%.

摘要: The various embodiments set forth a display device that includes a liquid crystal module, a nano-particle semiconductor material, and a light source that includes a blue light-emitting diode configured to generate a blue output light. The nano-particle semiconductor material is configured to receive the blue output light, convert a first portion of the blue output light to a green light emission, convert a second portion of the blue output light to a red light emission, and transmit a remainder portion of the blue output light. The liquid crystal module is configured to receive the green light emission, the red light emission, and the remainder portion of the blue output light and generate an image that includes a portion of the green light emission, a portion of the red light emission, and a portion of the remainder portion of the blue output light.

摘要: The present invention provides a backlight unit capable of realizing a wide color gamut of a display device by reduction of the spectral half-width of light. The backlight unit provided by the present invention comprises: a light source which is formed so as to provide primary light; a quantum dot phosphor which is excited by the primary light provided from the light source and emits secondary light having a wavelength different from the wavelength of the primary light, the quantum dot phosphor being arranged so as to be spaced apart from the light source; and a light cutting agent which absorbs light of a specific wavelength from the primary light or the secondary light.

The backlight includes a light source to provide a first light, and an optical wavelength converter (OU) to receive the first light and emits a second light. The optical wavelength converter (OU) includes a light emitting part having a plurality of excitation light emitting bodies (LUB) to be excited by receiving the first light, and thereby emit the second light, and a light absorbing part (ASP) including a plurality of absorbers (ABS) provided on the light emitting part to receive the second light and absorb a portion of the second light having a wavelength of about 550 nm to about 650 nm.

摘要: An optical construction is described that includes a blue light source, a liquid crystal display panel, and a quantum dot film element optically between the blue light source and the liquid crystal display panel. In some embodiments, the blue light source can emit blue light that has a wavelength in a range from 440 to 460 nm and an FWHM of less than 25 nm. Also, in some embodiments, the quantum dot film element includes a plurality of quantum dots emitting a peak red wavelength in a range from 600 to 640 nm, an FWHM of less than 50 nm, a peak green wavelength in a range from 515 to 555 nm, and an FWHM of less than 40 nm. The quantum dot film element can be optically between the blue light source and the LCD panel.
