摘要： The present disclosure relates among other things to a computer-implemented method of controlling a manufacturing operation. Material diagnostic data relating to a two-dimensional sheet material is obtained (110). Furthermore, the obtained material diagnostic data is analyzed, or otherwise evaluated, to produce (120) material characteristics data. In addition, information related to a desired three-dimensional design of a product to be manufactured by a manufacturing operation is obtained (130). Furthermore, the method includes producing (140) a digital model of said product, wherein he digital model being based on said material characteristics data and said desired three-dimensional design of the product. A control signal which is based on said digital model is also generated (150). The control signal is further configured to cause the manufacturing equipment to carry out a material reshaping operation on a two-dimensional sheet material to form said physical three-dimensional product in accordance with the digital model.
