摘要: Systems for and methods of providing a feed rate for three-dimensional printing a part are presented. The disclosed techniques include: obtaining computer readable toolpath instructions for the part, where the toolpath instructions specify a nominal feed rate for a toolpath segment and spatial toolpath data of the toolpath segment; providing an input including the spatial toolpath data to a trained machine learning system, where the trained machine learning system has been trained using training data including: training spatial toolpath data, training closed loop gain data, and training feed rate data; obtaining a revised feed rate for the toolpath segment different from the nominal feed rate for the toolpath segment, where the revised feed rate is output from the trained machine learning system; and providing revised computer readable toolpath instructions, where the revised machine learning toolpath instructions include the revised feed rate.

摘要: Embodiments for performing manufacture processes are disclosed. In one embodiment, a system (100, 900) includes a tool (220) to be used in a manufacture process on a workpiece. The system (100, 900) includes a robot (310) having an arm. The arm has an attachment point and is configured to move the tool (220), when attached to the attachment point, in multiple degrees of freedom during the manufacture process. A robot controller (110) of the robot (310) controls the movement of the arm based on motion parameters to perform the manufacture process via the tool (220). The system (100, 900) includes a power source (910) having power electronics (919) to generate electrical output power, based on electrical input parameters, provided to the tool (220) during the manufacture process. A power source controller of the power source (910) is configured to communicate with the robot controller (110), allowing a path planner component (310) to generate the motion parameters used to perform the manufacture process while avoiding robot collision conflicts.

摘要: The present subject matter includes systems, methods, and devices for optimization of objects generated using 3-D printing. A printed object may be optimized for performance, such as increasing the strength of the object while retaining the shape of the object. For example, if the object is an object designed for a three-point bend, optimization may include removing material from regions within the object to change the relative densities and stiffness in each of the regions while retaining the original shape of the object. Optimization of an object while retaining the object shape enables the object to function and to appear as it was origin ally designed, and to continue to interact with neighboring components in the same way.
