    摘要: An automatic programming method and device have a first step of detecting a to-be-turned surface of a product model, the surface having the maximum diameter in the product model, and determining the rotating axis, as the turning axis of the product model, of the detected to-be-turned surface with the maximum diameter; a second step for moving or rotating the product model so that the determined turning axis of the product model is coincide with the turning axis of a material model; and a third step for moving the product model so that an end face of the moved product model is coincide with a program original point previously set in the material model, and the product model is automatically placed so as to be superposed in the material model.
