The invention relates to a device which displays a machine state and a work state of a composite lathe having a plurality of main spindles on a display of a control panel, and provides a display device which can viscerally understand an operating state of a machine and is excellent in design. The invention can obtain the device which can easily teach and instruct the controller setting and command which affect the machine state. The device displays three-dimensional figures of a plurality of main spindles and tool posts on a full-time display region which is provided in a display of a control panel. The figures of the main spindles and the figures of the tool posts are arranged in correspondence to arrangement aspects of the main spindles and the tool posts of an actual machine, and display main spindle selection states of the respective tool posts by arrow figures which are directed from the respective tool posts to the main spindle figures. The object of the present invention is to prevent the generation of abnormal operation or the delivering failure of a loader (5) like a gantry loader due to the displacement of the core of a chuck (2) when a work (W) is delivered to the chuck of an outer device, for example a NC lathe. The present invention relates to a loader control device (20) for controlling the loader 5 which delivers the work (W) to the chuck (2) of the outer device (1). The work (W) is delivered by the loader chuck (14) placed at the work delivering position. The displacement of the center position of the loader chuck (14) and the center position of the outer device chuck (2) at the time being is detected by a displaced amount of detecting means 31 from the torque of the motors (11, 12) of the loader (5).
