摘要: The invention concerns a method for performing a run-time simulation of a computer program comprising: extracting said computer program from a first application environment to a second application environment; parsing said computer program to generate a hierarchical representation of said computer program; based on said hierarchical representation, inserting at least one log value generation instruction into said extracted computer program to generate an enhanced computer program; re-injecting said enhanced computer program into said first application environment; executing, in said first application environment, said enhanced computer program; and receiving from said first application environment generated log values and analysing said values with respect to a hierarchical representation of said computer program.

摘要: A method for delivering a code resource of a dynamic programming language to a user agent, comprising the following steps at a delivery appliance remote from said user agent: compiling said code resource to a compiled resource using optimization; including at least one type check in said compiled resource; sending to said user agent said compiled resource; and sending to said user agent at least one fallback resource for said compiled resource; wherein said at least one fallback resource is adapted for replacing at least partially said compiled resource when a type mismatch due to said optimization is detected during execution of said compiled resource.

摘要: The present invention provides a method and a caching node entity for ensuring at least a predetermined number of a content object to be kept stored in a network, comprising a plurality of cache nodes for storing copies of content objects. The present invention makes use of ranking states values, deletable or non-deletable, which when assigned to copies of content objects are indicating whether a copy is either deletable or non-deletable. At least one copy of each content object is assigned the value non-deletable. The value for a copy of a content object changing from deletable to non-deletable in one cache node of the network, said copy being a candidate for the value non-deletable, if a certain condition is fulfilled.

摘要: Allocation of memory registers for shaders by a processor is described herein. For each shader, registers are allocated based on the shader's level of complexity. Simpler shader instances are restricted to a smaller number of memory registers. More complex shader instances are allotted more registers. To do so, developers' high level shading level (HLSL) language includes template classes of shaders that can later be replaced by complex or simple versions of the shader. The HLSL is converted to bytecode that can be used to rasterize pixels on a computing device.

摘要: A method and apparatus is disclosed providing an improvement in performance for arithmetic computations by a computer system for calculations which include decimal numeric variables. The improvement in at least one embodiment includes use of a special compiler in cooperation with a special decimal numeric subroutine library. The compiler provides comparative alignment information based upon comparing alignments of a plurality of decimal variables. The decimal subroutine library can then provide improved performance at run time by utilizing the information compared by the compiler at compiler time rather than making those computations repeatedly at run time.
