Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, außerhalb und innerhalb einer Verpackungsmaschine durch Nutzung von Lichteffekten an der Verpackungsmaschine das Bedienungspersonal schnell und sicher an die Stelle der Verpackungsmaschine zu führen, an der ein Fehler aufgetreten ist oder eine Warnung ausgelöst wurde und gleichzeitig die dazu vorteilhaften konstruktiven Lösungen an der Verpackungsmaschine zu schaffen. Die Verpackungsmaschine (1) ist mit zumindest einem teilweisen Gehäuse mit Rahmengestell (2), mit einer Mehrzahl von Stationen (3) zum Beispiel zur Verarbeitung von Produkten und/oder Verpackungen, der Aufnahme von Produkten in Verpackungen und einem den Innenraum der Verpackungsmaschine verlassenden Abförderbereich versehen, wobei das Rahmengestell (2) an der Vorderseite und/oder an der Rückseite der Verpackungsmaschine (1) jeweils als freistehendes Portal, bestehend aus einem horizontalen Träger (4) und zwei vertikalen Trägern (5), ausgebildet ist, welche in ihrer Ausdehnung alle Teile der Verpackungsmaschine (1) umfassen, wobei beide Portale im unteren Bereich durch eine innenliegende Rahmenkonstruktion (6) verbunden sind und im oberen Bereich der Portale und zwischen den Portalen ringsum um die gesamte Verpackungsmaschine (1) Leuchtelemente (8) vorzugsweise in Form von Lichtbändern (12) angeordnet sind, die abschnittsweise dahinterliegenden oder darunterliegenden Stationen (3) zugeordnet sind. The qualitative evaluation looks at the presence, absence, level, rate of change or duration of certain features of the production cycle as revealed by the sensor data. The quantitative evaluation of data involves the computation of certain data attributes. By providing useful data acquisition and data analysis tools, necessary adjustments are made to the required parameters of the production process to provide improved efficiency. The results of the changes are immediately verifiable on the display of the flexible process optimizer.
