During operation, the system obtains a font file comprising a set of scalable representations of graphical assets used in the application. Next, the system obtains a layout of a user interface of the application. The system then obtains, from the layout, a mapping of a user-interface element in the user interface to a scalable representation of a graphical asset in the font file. Finally, the system uses the mapping and the scalable representation to render the graphical asset in the user interface based on an attribute of a screen in the electronic device.

The method include: obtaining image feature information of an image; identifying a type of the image according to the image feature information; selecting a saturation enhancement mode corresponding to the type of the image, and enhancing the saturation of the image with the saturation enhancement mode. The present disclosure solves the problem that beauty degree of the user interface image may be reduced when each image frame in a terminal is enhanced by a same mode for enhancing saturation; and also achieves that, for each image of the terminal, different modes for saturation enhancing are used for different types, images of each type may get a better saturation, thus improving display effect of the terminal as a whole.
