    摘要： A circuit apparatus includes a storage unit (170) and a light source luminance determination circuit (140). The storage unit stores a plurality of pieces of attenuation factor distribution information (LUTA, LUTB, LUTC) indicating an attenuation factor distribution of light with respect to a distance between a light source element and a pixel. The light source luminance determination circuit determines, by light adjustment processing based on input image data (IMA) and the plurality of pieces of attenuation factor distribution information, light source luminance information (LLD) indicating luminance of light emitted by each light source element of a plurality of light source elements. In a first mode, the light source luminance determination circuit determines the light source luminance information based on the input image data and first attenuation factor distribution information among the plurality of pieces of attenuation factor distribution information. In a second mode, the light source luminance determination circuit determines the light source luminance information based on the input image data and second attenuation factor distribution information in which the attenuation factor distribution is different from that in the first attenuation factor distribution information among the plurality of pieces of attenuation factor distribution information.

    摘要： A circuit apparatus includes a storage unit, an illumination luminance calculation circuit, and a color correction circuit. The storage unit stores a look-up table indicating an attenuation factor distribution of light with respect to a distance between a light source element and a pixel. The illumination luminance calculation circuit calculates, based on attenuation factor information output from the look-up table and light source luminance information indicating luminance of light emitted by each light source element, illumination luminance information indicating luminance at which a target pixel of the display panel is illuminated by a plurality of light source elements. The color correction circuit performs color correction on input image data based on the illumination luminance information. The look-up table outputs the attenuation factor information with a first distance resolution in a first distance range and outputs the attenuation factor information with a second distance resolution higher than the first distance resolution in a second distance range in which a slope of the attenuation factor distribution is larger than that in the first distance range.
