    摘要: The invention relates to electrical switchgear in which the switchgear parameters are adjusted by means of remote control and which additionally have apparatuses with which these parameter values can be read off directly from the switchgear. The invention also relates to a method for ensuring that currently set switchgear parameters and a parameter value display on the appliance itself correspond. Whereas the current setting value can be directly read off on the appliance by means of the arrow of the one slot (26) and the scale marking (30) when a switchgear parameter is adjusted by means of the adjustment knob (21) directly on the appliance, in the case of remote adjustment of this setting value in prior art appliances the set value may differ from the position of the adjustment knob (21) and therefore the position of the slot with the arrow (26) in relation the scale marking (30). The invention proposes that the current setting of a switchgear parameter can be read off from the appliance itself on the at least one apparatus for adjusting the at least one switchgear parameter. This can be done by the apparatus for adjusting the switchgear parameter having an adjustment motor for updating the parameter value display on the appliance itself, wherein, when a new setting value is remotely set, the existing position of the adjustment knob (21) and therefore the position of the slot with the arrow (26) is readjusted to the new value in relation to the scale marking (30). In the process, the PCB motor is actuated by the electronics system of the switchgear until the position of the adjustment potentiometer or of the adjustment switch corresponds to the new value.

    摘要: The circuit breaker current/time characteristic value at which the bimetal (5) in a thermal trip assembly (1) actuates a trip mechanism (11) is adjusted by an adjustable coupler (15) that includes first and second pivoted members (17,21) separately rotatable about a common pivot axis (23). Deflection of the bimetal (5) by an overload current causes rotation of the first pivoted member (17), which is coupled by a coupling member (29) extending parallel to the common axis (23) into the second pivoted member (21) which rotates to actuate the trip mechanism (11). A positioner (37) moves the coupling member (29) toward and away from the common pivot axis (23) to adjust the amount of deflection of the bimetal (5) needed to actuate the trip mechanism (11).
