摘要： Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kontaktklemme zum Verbinden eines Leiterendes mit einem elektrischen Kontakt und mit einer Einführseite von der das Leiterende in die Kontaktklemme einführbar ist, welche ein Haltegestell umfasst mit einem Kontaktabschnitt, mit welchem das Leiterende kontaktierbar ist, sowie einen Klemmschenkel, welcher in dem Haltegestell schwenkbar gelagert und zwischen einer geöffneten Schwenkposition (Fig. 1) und einer geschlossenen Schwenkposition (Fig. 2) hin und her schwenkbar ist, und der Klemmschenkel in der geschlossenen Schwenkposition das Leiterende gegen den Kontaktabschnitt klemmt, wenn das Leiterende in die Sollkontaktposition (Fig. 11) in die Kontaktklemme eingeführt ist, um den elektrischen Kontakt zwischen dem Leiterende und dem Kontaktabschnitt herzustellen, und der Klemmschenkel in der geöffneten Schwenkposition von dem Kontaktabschnitt weggeschwenkt ist und den Kontaktbereich in der Kontaktklemme freigibt, so dass das Leiterende in der geöffneten Schwenkposition einerseits in die Kontaktklemme einführbar ist und andererseits zur Entnahme aus der Kontaktklemme freigegeben ist und der Klemmschenkel in der geschlossenen Schwenkposition schräg (γ) zum Kontaktabschnitt hin verläuft und federnd beweglich ausgebildet ist, derart dass das Leiterende in der geschlossenen Schwenkposition unter elastischem Auffedern des Klemmschenkels in die Sollkontaktposition in die Kontaktklemme einführbar ist.

摘要： The invention relates to a contact clamp for connecting a conductor end to an electrical contact and having an insertion side from which the conductor end can be inserted into the contact clamp, comprising a clamp limb that is mounted in a pivotal manner and can be pivoted between an open pivot position and a closed pivot position. The clamp limb clamps the conductor end against the contact section in the closed pivot position, when the conductor end is inserted into the contact clamp in the target contact position, and the clamp limb is pivoted away from the contact section in the open pivot position and releases the contact region in the contact clamp such that the conductor end can be inserted into the contact clamp in the open pivot position and is released for removal from the contact clamp. The clamp limb runs obliquely to the contact section and is designed in an elastically moveable way in the closed pivoting position, such that the conductor end can be inserted into the contact clamp in the closed pivot position while elastically pushing the clamp limb into the target contact position.

摘要： An electrical terminal and a system of the terminal and a housing is disclosed as an example of the present invention. The electrical terminal and the housing have a number of advantages including being sufficiently stiff to prevent arcing and physical damage to the electrical terminal upon being exposed to surge current/voltage. The terminal includes a contact with a base portion from which two spaced apart arms extend outwardly. First portions of the arms are generally parallel to one another. Second portions of the arms converge toward each other and then flare outwardly along third portions of the arms. At the junction of the second and third portions, there is a contact region formed to receive the lead of a surge protection device. The terminal is enclosed in an opening in the electrically insulative housing, the opening being bordered by walls closely adjacent to the first portions of the arms. The spacing of the walls from the arms is about 0.001 inches on each side of the terminal. When the terminal is exposed to a surge current/voltage, the walls stiffen the terminal and prevent arcing and physical damage.

摘要： A terminal socket assembly (10) for interconnecting electrically powered vehicular components with an associated input male input pin (12) and an output cable (14). The socket assembly includes a spring cage blank (18) having first (40) and second (42) extending edges and a plurality of spaced apart and angled beams (44) extending between the edges. The spring cage is formed into a substantially cylindrical shape, and particularly in an 'hourglass shape', configuration utilizing any of a variety of different forming and bending operations. A substantially tubular sleeve (118) is provided for receiving the configured spring cage in axially inserting fashion. The sleeve is compressingly engageable, such as by forming an axially extending slit along the length of the sleeve with a predetermined incremental amount of spacing established between adjoining surfaces, and in order to create an interference fit with the axially inserted spring cage. The assembled sleeve and spring cage is capable of biasingly receiving and engaging an extending and inserting portion of the male pin (12). Gripping portions (130, 132) are integrally secured to the tubular sleeve and fixedly engage an extending end of a cable (14) to electrically communicate the two cables. A sealed connector housing forms a part of and encases the terminal socket assembly and extending connector cables and includes assembleable male and female housing portions and end seals.
