The cold forming method for forming power pins comprises the following steps: step 1: cutting blank out; step 2: pre-forming the power pin body by necking; step 3: trimming the pre-formed power pin body, and pre-forming a pin fixing disk; step 4: forming the pin fixing disk and a staggered weld leg of pin. The invention also discloses a power pin formed by the cold forming method, composed of a power pin body, a pin fixing disk and a staggered weld leg of pin which are integrally formed into one piece by the cold forming method. The invention achieves high-speed automatic production and high production efficiency with a simple process, and improves material utilization and strength.

The particles of the particulate metallic solder alloy have a bimodal size distribution in which particles in a smaller size range have a largest dimension that is smaller than a smallest dimension of particles in a larger size range of the bimodal distribution. In some examples the particles in the smaller size mode have dimensions in the range of 1 to 100 nm. In some examples, the particles in the larger size mode have dimensions in the range of 2 to 75 microns in dimension. In some examples, a halogen-free flux is used. In some examples, a solvent is used to make a paste.

A terminal 11 having a tube-shaped portion 25 of 2.0mm in inner diameter is prepared for an electrical wire 13 having a conductor cross-sectional area of 0.72 to 1.37mm 2 , the electrical wire 13 is inserted into an electrical wire insertion port 31 of the tube-shaped portion 25 of the electrical wire, and the tube-shaped portion 25 and the core wire portion 14 of the electrical wire 13 are compressed to be crimp-connected to each other.
