The arrangement for current measurement with control algorithms is provided for power control by providing amplified and conditioned current for optimization between the current to power an electronic circuit and the fidelity of a measured current waveform so that they both are at the acceptable levels at the same time. This disclosure describes the current sensing and associated algorithm for power control in a truly self-powered relay.

A first module provides measurement and analysis of power parameters of the power line connecting the power equipment that is being protected, the protection being provided by generating a first trip signal for operating a circuit breaker connected in the power line. One or more second modules can boost performance of the protection relay by measurement and analysis of power parameters-to generate a second trip signal for operating a circuit breaker connected in the power line. The first trip signal and the second trip signal are logically combined to generate a trip signal that operates the circuit breaker.

Le déclencheur électronique comprend au moins un capteur de courant (T1, T2, T3), un circuit de redressement (3) pour fournir un courant d'alimentation (Ia), un ensemble électronique de traitement (6) pour commander un actionneur destiné à actionner un mécanisme d'ouverture du conducteur principal (1), et un circuit d'alimentation électrique (4) doté d'un régulateur de tension (17) destiné à fournir une tension d'alimentation (VA) de l'ensemble électronique de traitement. Dans le déclencheur électronique, le circuit d'alimentation comporte des moyens rehausseurs de tension (19, 20) permettant de fournir une tension rehaussée (VB) à l'entrée du régulateur de tension (17) destiné à fournir la tension d'alimentation (VA) de l'ensemble électronique de traitement, ladite tension rehaussée (VB) étant supérieure à une tension (VM) aux bornes du condensateur de stockage.
