摘要: Disclosed are a method for implementing telepresence technology and a telepresence device. The method comprises: a first telepresence device establishes a communication connection with a second telepresence device, wherein the first telepresence device performs a first capability negotiation with the second telepresence device during the communication connection establishment; the first telepresence device performs a TIP capability negotiation with the second telepresence device; the first telepresence device and the second telepresence device determine, according a result of the first capability negotiation and a result of the TIP capability negotiation, an audio and video coding/decoding mode used in the following communication; and the first telepresence device communicates with the second telepresence device according to the determined audio and video coding/decoding mode. The present invention solves a technical problem in the prior art that new audio and video coding/decoding modes cannot be used because content of a TIP protocol is not updated in time, thereby achieving a technical effect of improving the expansion capability of the telepresence technology.

摘要: A transmission management system receives, from a request source terminal which is an addition request source requesting to add a certain transmission terminal as a destination candidate, an addition request for the destination candidate, identification information of the request source terminal and identification information of a request target terminal which is an addition request target of the destination candidate; and informs the request target terminal of an approval request for requesting the request target terminal to approve the addition request, and the identification of the request source terminal. The system receives an addition request response from the request target terminal in response to the addition request. When the addition request response indicates to approve the addition request, the system additionally associates the identification information of the request target terminal with the identification information of the request source terminal as the identification information of the destination terminal.

摘要: This invention has as its object to set a one-to-one relationship upon establishing a wireless communication channel between a wireless communication device on the information transmitting side and a wireless communication device that receives and processes the information even in an environment including a plurality of wireless communication devices, and to assure simple user's operations at least until the communication channel is established. To this end, when the user inputs a wireless communication channel establishment instruction to both a digital camera and printer having wireless communication functions, these devices execute wireless communication establishment processes within an allowable time period which is specified by a time set in a timer and a retry count. When the devices can seize each other within that time period, the communication channel is established. After that, the digital camera sends a sensed image to the printer, which prints the sensed image.

摘要: Certain embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method and an apparatus for managing and optimizing service discovery in a peer-to-peer (P2P) wireless network. Nodes of the P2P network advertise their capabilities to their peers in the form of services. Efficient propagation and management of node's services to other nodes is proposed in the present disclosure. An embodiment relates in particular to a method for wireless node in a peer-to-peer (P2P) network, comprising: receiving (410) one or more advertisements of services offered by one or more other wireless nodes in the P2P network; generating (420) a prioritized list of services, based on one or more services offered by the wireless node and services listed in the received advertisements of services; dropping a service from the prioritized list of services, if a distance of the service is larger than a distance limit; wherein the distance of the service is measured by a number of hops between the wireless node and another wireless node that initiated advertisement of the service and wherein the distance limit may vary based on the service or it may vary dynamically based on a network loading and network density; and distributing (430) the prioritized list of services to other wireless nodes in the P2P network.
