摘要: A method and an agent (500) are provided for the management and control of data files, in particular, the management of shared documents across a network to enable collaboration between users. The agent (500) comprises a collaborative event manager (180) to detect changes made to an open copy of the file that is associated with a first client device (100); a network manager (155) to determine whether a connection can be made with one or more further clients devices (130) connected to a network (120); and an offline manager (170) couplable to the network manager (155) to persist changes detected by the collaborative event manager (180) when a connection cannot be made; wherein the network manager (155) is adapted to selectively transmit the changes across the network (120) to one or more of the said further client devices (130) when a connection can be made, thereby instructing one or more respective agents to apply said changes to respective copies of said file.

摘要: A device is provided. The device includes a processor, a screen, and a memory including an application configured to record, transmit, receive, play, display, and group visual messages. Visual messages include a video, a snapshot, a reference to the video or snapshot, a drawing, audio content, a reference to the drawing or audio content, and a timestamp, a time reference within the video, a Global Positioning System coordinate, a user ID, a participant ID, or a reference to the timestamp, GPS coordinate, user ID, and participant ID. The application displays and maintains drawings on the screen for an amount of time not related to a duration of a video. The video and snapshot are recorded as part of an original video or snapshot visual message, and the drawing and audio content are not embedded in the video or the snapshot and are recorded as part of the visual message.

摘要: A mobile terminal and controlling method thereof are disclosed, by which such a content created in the course of meeting a counterpart as a photo, a video and the like can be shared with the counterpart more conveniently. The present disclosure includes determining at least one sharing target terminal located in a predetermined distance from the mobile terminal or at a preset place over a predetermined time and when a period for the determined at least one sharing target terminal to be located in the predetermined distance or at the preset place expires, sharing the contents created by the mobile terminal for the period and the contents created by the determined at least one sharing target terminal with the determined at least one sharing target terminal in part at least.

摘要: Systems and methods for improving real-time coauthoring in a distributed environment without a central document manager are disclosed herein. Due to communication being non-instantaneous, the state of a document on an endpoint may differ from the state of the document on an editor at the time that an edit is made. The different states, however, may be reconcilable via a vector clock translation. Each coauthor may maintain an array of vector clocks to track the state of the document for each coauthor. The vector clocks may be included when transmitting indications of edits so that an endpoint in a modified state can translate the edit to comply with the modified state of the document. Translating edits enables more edits to be implement in real-time than otherwise possible in a distributed environment without a central document manager.
