Abstract:
Provided are a system and method of providing a voice-message call service. A mobile device (1000) that performs a call with an external mobile device (2000) comprises a control unit (1300) configured to obtain text, the text converted from voice data that is exchanged between the mobile device and the external mobile device, during the call between the mobile device and the external mobile device, and obtain input text input to the mobile device and provided text that is received from the external mobile device; and a display unit (1210) configured to arrange the text, the input text, and the provided text and display the arranged text, input text, and provided text on a screen of the device, during the call between the mobile device and the external mobile device.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and an apparatus for converting a voice into a text in a multiparty call, which relate to the field of communications technologies, and can accurately obtain the text converted from the voice in the multiparty call in a time-saving and effortless way. Solutions provided in the present invention include: receiving converted-to-text requests sent by at least two terminals, where the converted-to-text requests include a first identifier and a second identifier; allocating a session to the at least two terminals, so that in the converted-to-text requests sent by the at least two terminals, terminals that have a same first identifier or a same second identifier have a same session; receiving, by using a packet-switched domain, a voice stream whose sampling rate is greater than 8 KHz and that is sent by at least one terminal in one multiparty call, where the multiparty call corresponds to one session; converting the voice stream into a text; and sending the text to a terminal in the multiparty call. The present invention is used to obtain a text converted from a voice in the multiparty call.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a hand-held communication aid and method that assists the deaf-dumb and visually impaired individuals to communicate with each other and with normal individuals. The method enables deaf-dumb and visually impaired individuals to communicate with each other and with normal individuals on remote communication means without any hardware improvization. The method enables face to face communication and remote communication aid for deaf-dumb and visually impaired individuals. This method requires no modifications in hand-held communication device used by normal individual.
Abstract:
The present invention provides methods, devices and systems for determining a language among a plurality of languages available for a voice to text transcription of phone calls between a caller and a recipient provided by an answering machine system, NETWORK characterized in that at least two of said available languages are proposed to the caller based on: a phone country code corresponding to said caller a phone country code corresponding to said recipient, a language comprised in a set of languages available for the transcription by said answering machine system, a language selected automatically on the basis of parameters set by the caller or the recipient wherein said caller selects said language interacting with said answering machine system, and a corresponding voice message is transcribed into text of the selected language for forwarding to said recipient.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A mass-scale, user-independent, device-independent, voice messaging system for converting an unstructured audio message from a caller into text for display on a screen. The voice messaging system comprises an automatic speech recognition system configured to generate raw text, given an input speech signal. The voice messaging system also comprises a computer implemented pre-processing front-end subsystem configured to determine an appropriate conversion strategy used to convert the audio message by: classifying the message type of the audio message using a plurality of detectors which analyse the audio message, and based on the classified message type, either routing the audio message for conversion by the automatic speech recognition system or not routing the audio message for conversion by the automatic speech recognition system.
