When saving the state of the buffer queue by using the present invention, only the bill ID queue is updated and the bill added recently in the buffer queue is saved, the buffer queue doesn't need to be saved entirely, so the time for processing the bill is reduced, and the processing rate for merging the bill is quickened.

One embodiment includes a mobile unit configured to maintain an amount of time units for which the mobile unit is authorized to utilize wireless services. The amount of time units is preferably prepaid for by the customer. The mobile unit prevents utilization of wireless services upon the expiration of the amount of prepaid time units. Furthermore, it is preferred that a prepaid application server receive notification from the wireless service provider of the use of time units by the mobile unit. In this manner, the prepaid application server may monitor the availability of time units and prevent fraudulent use when the amount of prepaid time units expire.

An intelligent charging triggering method is provided. The method includes receiving a subscriber location information update request sent by a serving mobile switching center (MSC), determining whether subscriber information delivered to the serving MSC carries intelligent subscription information of a prepaid subscriber according to a preset intelligent charging triggering policy, and then delivering the subscriber information carrying the intelligent subscription information to the serving MSC if a determination result is that the subscriber information delivered to the serving MSC carries the intelligent subscription information. A home location register (HLR) and a charging processing system are further provided. The technical solutions can realize real-time charging of a calling service of a prepaid subscriber in a BOSS system when the prepaid subscriber roams in a roaming region of a home country, and meanwhile realize an international roaming service of a prepaid subscriber in an intelligent network (IN).

A method and a system for accounting supporting Quality of Service (QoS) change during a session, and an AAA client and an accounting processing unit are disclosed. The method includes: detecting by an AAA client a QoS change notification of a session; obtaining by the AAA client the accounting information of the session; and sending the accounting information to an accounting processing unit of a AAA server; implementing by the accounting processing unit an accounting operation for the user of the session according to the accounting information. The system includes the AAA client and the accounting processing unit of the AAA server. The AAA client comprises a QoS change detection unit and an accounting information unit. The QoS change detection unit is adapted to detect a message received by the AAA client during a session and send an initiation instruction to the accounting information unit as detecting a QoS change notification; and, the accounting information unit is adapted to obtain and save accounting information as receiving the initiation instruction. The accounting information unit is adapted to obtain and save accounting information as receiving the initiation instruction. By the embodiment of this invention, the accounting for a radio access network user may be more accurate and reasonable.
