摘要: A device (1) for immersive visual representations to a user of virtual scenes, inside a helmet (5) enabling head movements, receives information related to positions of the user's eyes (110) with respect to the helmet, determines visual generation parameters (130) of the virtual scenes in function of that information, and provides those parameters for carrying out the immersive visual representations in the helmet based on those parameters. The device further determines the visual generation parameters so as to spatially adjust continuously the representations of the virtual scenes in function of the positions of the user's eyes. An individual head equipment comprises such a device, a helmet, at least one visual generation apparatus (4, 40), and one or more sensor(s) (3) providing the positions of the user's eyes.

According to an example embodiment of the present disclosure, a method for generating a panoramic image may comprise sensing a direction that a first side surface of the electronic device faces through a sensor included in the electronic device, displaying a first partial image of the panoramic image corresponding to the sensed direction of the first side surface, determining a direction corresponding to the reference view information with respect to the first partial image if information regarding the first partial image differs from reference view information indicating a reference view for the panoramic image, and providing information about the determined direction.

摘要: The present invention provides a multi-view video transmission method and apparatus. The method includes: obtaining a location of a viewpoint video to which a user currently pays attention in a multi-view video; obtaining a first speed at which a user viewpoint switches, where the first speed is a speed at which the user viewpoint switches to the location of the viewpoint video to which attention is currently paid; determining, according to the first speed and according to a preset algorithm, a quantity NNV of predictive viewpoint videos that need to be downloaded before the user switches to another viewpoint; determining locations of the predictive viewpoint videos in the multi-view video according to a preset rule and according to the location of the viewpoint video to which the user currently pays attention, the first speed, and the quantity NNV of the predictive viewpoint videos, where the predictive viewpoint videos are viewpoint videos whose probability of becoming a next viewpoint video attention is to be paid satisfies a preset probability value; and downloading the predictive viewpoint videos corresponding to the locations of the predictive viewpoint videos from a server end and transmitting the predictive viewpoint videos. A time delay caused during switching of an angle of view can be avoided. Moreover, not all viewpoint videos need to be transmitted, and therefore a waste of bandwidths is reduced.
