摘要: An A/V content comprising a primary A/V content and a secondary A/V content to be inserted in the primary A/V content is delivered to a client device using adaptive streaming. A transcoding proxy enables transcoding segments of the secondary A/V content, when the segments of the secondary A/V content have different duration than a typical duration of the segments of the primary A/V content. The transcoding rewrites (S204) an original secondary A/V content manifest by indicating (S204-2), in a part thereof intended to be reused by the client device to request segments of the secondary A/V content, that transcoding is requested, by indicating the typical duration of the segments of the primary A/V content, and by modifying (S204-1) a description of said at least one representation of the secondary A/V content, both to match a rewritten timeline aligned on the typical duration of the segments of the primary A/V content.

A video stream with the video data is generated. A subtitle stream with bitmap data obtained by conversion of the subtitle graphics data is generated. A container containing the video stream and the subtitle stream is transmitted. The subtitle stream contains a first segment having a bitmap conversion table with color gamut and/or brightness conversion information. On the receiving side, the bitmap data is merely converted into the subtitle graphics data by means of the bitmap conversion table so that the subtitle graphics data with characteristics conformable to characteristics of superimposition target video data can be easily obtained.-

摘要: Provided are a method and device for decoding and encoding supplemental auxiliary information of a three-dimensional video sequence. The method includes: obtaining supplemental auxiliary information for constructing a stereo-pair from a three-dimensional video sequence bitstream, the supplemental auxiliary information being used for indicating that the stereo-pair is constructed from a reconstructed three-dimensional video sequence, and the reconstructed three-dimensional video sequence being obtained by decoding the three-dimensional video sequence bitstream. The present invention solves the technical problem in the prior art that degraded displaying quality of a constructed stereo-pair appears because of the lack of supplemental auxiliary information in a three-dimensional video sequence bitstream, and achieves the technical effect of improving the display quality of a constructed stereoscopic video.

摘要: A method for transmitting service data of a handset TV is disclosed in the present invention, wherein, an audio part and a video part of a handset TV program are split into an audio sub-service and a video sub-service respectively, and when transmitting the service data of the handset TV program, a transmitting terminal splits the service data into audio sub-service data and video sub-service data; the transmitting terminal respectively transmits the audio sub-service data and the video sub-service data on different transmission resources, and transmits association relationship information of the audio sub-service and the video sub-service to a terminal. In the present invention, a transceiver operates in a DRX mode in a long time to effectively save the handset power energy; in addition, in implementation, the present invention only needs to update the software in the existing system, which causes very small changes to the system and is low in cost, thus the overall performance of the handset TV is effectively improved.

Information on a plurality of distribution protocols, the information on each distribution protocol including at least location information and protocol identification information, for acquiring a specific component to be acquired on a communication path, or acquisition information for acquiring the information on the plurality of distribution protocols is inserted into the second transmission packet, in relation to the specific component. A receiving side can excellently receive the specific component through a distribution protocol in accordance with its own distribution network environment.
