Un distributeur de produits comprend au moins un puits de remplissage (6) avec des parois (22, 24) parallèles aux axes des cylindres et faisant saillie dans l'intervalle (8) entre les cylindres. Un organe d'évacuation de l'air qui pénètre avec le produit dans l'intervalle entre les cylindres est pourvu à la hauteur de l'intervalle entre les cylindres d'orifices d'admission d'air qui s'ouvrent dans une chambre collectrice d'air en communication avec des sorties d'air. Des deux côtés des parois du puits de remplissage parallèles aux axes sont agencées des chambres latérales (16, 18) qui s'étendent essentiellement sur toute la longueur des surfaces de compression des cylindres et qui sont fermées à leurs extrémités. Les chambres sont mises en communication avec l'intervalle entre les cylindres par un passage (28, 30) qui s'étend entre les surfaces de compression sur la circonférence des cylindres et l'extrémité inférieure des parois adjacentes aux parois du puits de remplissage. Die Rundlauf-Tablettiermaschine weist eine drehbar gelagerte Matrizenscheibe (2) auf, die mit Matrizenbohrungen (4) versehen ist. In der Matrizenscheibe (2) sind Oberstempel (10) und Unterstempel geführt, deren Stellung von Druckrollen (6, 7) gesteuert wird, welche höhenverstellbar sind. Um den Zeitaufwand zu vermindern, der bisher mit einer Demontage einer Druckstation verbunden ist, weil die wesentlichen Bestandteile einer bekannten Druckstation zum Zwecke der Reinigung oder beispielsweise der Wartung in ihre wesentlichen Bestandteile zerlegt werden mußten ist vorgesehen, diese Bestandteile als eine insich geschlossene Baueinheit von der Maschine lösen zu können und gegen andere Einheiten austauschen zu können. Dafür ist nach der Erfindung eine Druckrolle (6) in einem Lagerbock (18) gelagert, der lösbar mit dem Gehäuse (28) des Antriebes verbunden ist, wobei der Lagerbock (18) vorzugsweise in einer Führung (30) des Gehäuses (28) vom Antrieb für die Druckrolle (6) verschiebbar gehalten ist. Es ergibt sich damit der Vorteil, daß die Druckstationen als Baueinheiten von der Tablettiermaschine gelöst werden können für eine Wartung an einem entfernten Ort, wobei sie in der Zwischenzeit zu ersetzen sind durch baugleiche Teile bzw. den Einsatz gleicher Baueinheiten.

The present invention relates to an apparatus for manufacturing compacted irons and an apparatus for manufacturing molten irons using the same. The apparatus for manufacturing compacted irons according to the present invention includes a charging hopper into which reduced materials containing fine reduced irons are charged, screw feeders installed inside the charging hopper to make an acute angle with a vertical direction and discharging the reduced materials containing fine reduced irons which enter into the charging hopper, and a couple of rolls separated from each other to form a gap between the rolls. The couple of rolls compact the reduced materials containing fine reduced irons discharged from the charging hopper by the screw feeders and manufacture compacted irons. Each screw feeder is arranged side by side along an axis direction of the couple of rolls and an extension of the center axis of each screw feeder passes through the gap.

A method for feeding the growing substrate, such as peat, soil, compost, crushed mineral wool, perlite, vermiculite, or bark, by means of a feeding equipment into the cells (6) of the set (4) of growing cells placed underneath the said equipment. The feeding equipment consists of two horizontal feeding rolls (2), which are placed side by side and which are parallel to each other, pins (3) of a resilient material, e.g. rubber or plastic, preferably polyurethane, being arranged as projecting from the roll faces (7), the said pins (3) projecting radially. The pins (3) are placed in the normal planes of the axes of the feeding rolls (2) alternatingly in each feeding roll (2) so that, in the space between the feeding rolls (2), the pins (3) on the feeding rolls (2) are placed as interlocking each other. The feeding rolls (2) are rotated in opposite directions so that the roll faces (7) of the rolls (2) directed towards each other have a downwardly oriented direction of rotation. The filling material of the cells (6), i.e. the growing substrate, is fed preferably as moist at a high speed into the cells (6) by rotating the feeding rolls (2) at a rotation speed of 500 to 1000 r.p.m. - the lower the specific weight of the filling material, the higher the speed of rotation. Thereby the filling material is, by the effect of the circumferential velocity of the feeding rolls (2) of about 3 to 10 m/s, rushed in the vertical direction into the cells of the growing cell system (4) so that any filling material introduced into the cells (6) earlier is compacted by means of the kinetic energy of the filling material, beginning from the bottom.
