    a base (35);

    a multiplicity of rip-stops (36a,36b,36c) integrally molded with and rising from said base, said rip-stops being arranged in rows extending lengthwise along said surface of said base and each of said rip-stops (36a,36b,36c) defining a footprint on said surface where each said rip-stop joins said base (35), said rows of rip-stops being interspersed among said rows of hook elements;
    at least many of said rip-stops (36a,36b,36c) being offset in the lengthwise direction relative to hook elements (34c,34c') in widthwise adjacent rows such that a substantial lengthwise portion of the footprints of the respective offset rip-stops and adjacent hook elements do not overlap lengthwise.

Such hooking members are employed to releasably engage directly into foams and fine denier non-woven materials, such as those of insulation, filters, construction moisture barriers, disposable gowns and diapers.

    摘要： A distinctive article can include an elastomerically stretchable side panel having a longitudinal dimension and a lateral dimension. A member of hook material is operable connected to a first, laterally outboard edge portion of the side panel, and each member of hook material includes a hook base layer which has an appointed fastening region and an appointed grip region. The fastening region has a plurality of hook elements which are integrally formed with the base layer and extend away from a base plane of the hook base layer. The hook elements are configured to operably engage a selected, co-operating loop material. The grip region has a relatively lower density of the hook elements per unit area, as compared to the fastening region. The fastening region is interposed between the side panel and the grip region. The grip region provides a laterally terminal edge of the article.

The density of woven fabric sheet at the inclined portions to either side of these raised portions becomes coarse and the gaps between fine filaments on the woven fabric sheet spread, so that retaining heads of one sheet can easily enter and so that the fine filaments easily become hooked to the base portion of the retaining heads. Consequently, the retaining of the one sheet and the other sheet in strengthened. and the peeling strength is improved.
